Let's just say that HALAZIA are the new HALATEEZ, the Ateez alternate version of our Ateez (the one in black and black fedora) that are fighting the government in the Z dimension that have banned everything, from arts to emotional expressions. In this video we assumed that the HALATEEZ are nowhere to be found and the people are waiting for them like some sort of cult, but NEW 8 have appeared and they are the new light, that's why the lyrics says: BE THE LIGHT, OH HALAZIA. The spheres that they are pulling it down represents the human emotions that are trying to leave the world so that's why the people are pulling them down, to regain them and the member who got hit by that sphere was there because he was the medium to let those emotions enter into the humanity once again

Every each scene of each member in the beginning is all upgraded like, Lisa with a trash truck in Boombayah but now those trash bags turn to cash bags, Jisoo is standing in the rain in DDDD but now she is standind in green rain (money), Rose' is sitting on a normal globe in Whistle but now she is sitting on a dominated pink and black globe.

There is a prologue for this that sets up the story. Halateez was captured (may be dead) and a new 8 shows up to save them people from the dystopian world. Halazia is a made up word-Hala from Hala Hala means hearts awakened live alive-Zia may be light but Ateez hasn’t said. We don’t know for sure what Halazia means but it may be the new 8. I think lore aside Halazia is hope. The song is about finding hope in a dark world or from a dark place.

I believe you guys missed the world ep 1 album (guerrilla is the title track) but halazia is an extra story from that album & was originally supposed to be a b side for the album! If you react to guerrilla + the two trailers released (lore focused) or the album in general you’ll be able to understand the story better!

They performed it live at their Busan concert & the choreo while singing was off the hook, think you would enjoy it - it is a bit rockish, btw. Also, RM performed many songs in a small venue concert - Live in Seoul at Rolling Hall w/many of his collaborators from his new album - Indigo & it is def worth checking out.
