Seriously though, these new internal passages and the like will allow for more interesting looking interiors in a more compact way than prior. We can map out whole passageways without needing to use armor blocks which will be great as it will help reduce vertical height requirements by a little. Also those new consoles look great and will be a welcome addition to my bridge. Also always love me some structural scaffold like bits and bobs for my more industrial style ships

I just got an idea. a drone that at a waypoint can open a hanger door to enter a base using the signal relay. gonna spend the next few hours/days testing it.

I'm glad to see the new rounded armor panels and more small grid windows! I'm not quite sure what I'll do with them yet but I'm sure I'll think of something when I get my hands on them. Maybe finally finish that pressurized small grid mobile base with some cool windows, airlock, and consoles for the cockpit area.

When I saw the new round panel, made me think of a sewer system or something. While the new windows are larger, they share the same hp as a small 1x1 window so using them for the front of a ship would look really cool but very fragile. It's not really going to matter either way since atleast for a small grid, doesn't matter when it's 100 hp

The corridors are probably my favorite. Not having to build the walls and ceilings is nice, plus they have built in lights.

Someone on the subreddit has already set up a scheme to send different digital signals through the same channel, allowing you to do actual binary data transfer and allowing the same channel to control several devices independently from each other. Very nifty stuff!

i wonder if you can set up the action broadcast and the chat broadcast so you have to tune in to the frequencey to see the messages sent...Like a docking computer or a specific station frequency for that stations automated messages and systems.

You have to pay for the new DLC. But the scaffolding blocks are added to a previous DLC, the decorative pack 3.

I doubtful the lost components mechanic will venture to other non power storage blocks. The purpose of this mechanic was to allow new batteries to come semi charged when constructed, while also not effectively equating to infinite power via deconstruct and rebuild for initial charge again. I dunno maybe some ultra hardcore mode, but there is already a mod that kind of does this. I dunno how to feel about the loot boxes, I personally loved popping cargo containers like a pinata, glad thats optional. My one gripe, the control station with the buttons, wish they'd done 4 buttons to stay inline with the other panels, but those control stations do look sick.

The new corridor at 6:03 min, they fit the dual door that flip open (not sure of the name of these door atm) but the door that is already open when you put them in creative *almost never play survival so not sure if when build they are also open by default*

I play on xbox, and have run out of space on the main game. I now exclusively use the Beta version that they have with the game to play, which is actually better since it includes features not in the main xbox version. The update hasn't come to the beta yet, hope the will add it soon.

Red Ship V2 is the new scenario, which is an updated version of the old red ship scenario.

All the new blocks lately look amazing, the features of this pack sound great, but I get frustrated that small grids are always so neglected. They should be making more of them so we can build more big small-grid ships. All of the bay windows and corridor pieces should have small-grid versions.

Sadly you can't use them to control a ship like with a cockpit. However, you can probably use them to access and control turrets, like other control panels and chairs.

I wish they revamped the building system, it works but it could be way better I'm not saying they should simplify the building system by any means but it would be very cool to be able to place more blocks in the same grid or move them freely, for example, I work a lot with sensors and it's kinda strange for a small thing take a whole grid space and be fully centered all the time Things like that are pushing me away from the game

I get what you mean. From the looks of it, the building system is largely improved in Vrage 3. So it remains to be seen if we get an SE 2 or a remaster.

all these dlcs make me angry for that i bought the game all the way back in its worst of early access and now they just block me from having so much tools for creativity in the game the point of which is creartivity. For space engineers these decorative blocks ARE pay to win, becouse for me winning in this game is building something beautiful and i hate pay to win.

I find the argument of Keen Software House continuously building DLC content to also be morally ambiguous, but they are also _nowhere_ near completion for the much anticipated SE2. If they need more time to get the physics of SE2 right ("how do you simulate water physics onto planet-sized entities?") then instead of giving us nothing to do, they give us some content to play with as they used our money to effectively sponsor/fund their next release.

lol SE is a finished product that you can actually use. Story is whatever you want it to be unless you have Zero creativity. The DLC is not only optional but it’s less than $10. Star Citizen is a broken mess that has constantly made actual headlines for potentially being a scam. The “Story” is random buggy mission with NPC’s who pose as much threat as a Minecraft villager. If you consider SE “dumbed down” then you must have never played it especially in survival. Either way nobody’s gonna judge you for playing Star Citizen buddy go ahead and buy another $200 ship for a game that’s not even finished 🤣🤣

With this update, I think they messed up when you press Alt k to get to control remote vehicles. I can't set up anything
