Hi Lana, gorgeous jade blooms! I first saw this flower in Kew Gardens, Botanical garden here in London and I was as amazed as you are now! Those wines produce such amazing blooms that are so unique we can't see them every where , so please don't ut the wine and keep this wonderful plant. Your other blooms are so amazing too! Thank you so much Mary! The flowers on this vine are truly amazing, they're out of this world. 😍 The only cutting I would do is a light trim to keep it from overgrowing. For fertilizer I use 20-20-20 or 20-13-14 water-soluble whichever I have available. Sometimes I also use 11-35-15 bloom booster fertilizer. Also on my vandas I use Dynamite slow release fertilizer in tea bags. I do not fertilize them on a rigid schedule, I just do it when I have time and weather allows. 🌞💖

Hello Daphney! The 'blue jade' is not an orchid, it is a vine and its complete name is Strongylodon macrobotrys. I found it and it is available on Facebook Marketplace under the name Jade Vine. The seller is located in Hollywood, Florida, and sometimes he advertises on Craigslist.

Спасибо огромное Halyna! Трипсы здесь большая проблема. Для профилактики я опрыскиваю все орхидеи примерно раз в месяц с Orthene ( systematic insecticide). Для местнго применения, Sevin (topical spray) очень эффективный от трипсов. С ним можно опрыскивать цветущие орхидеи, не повредит бутоны и цветы. Sevin у меня всегда под рукой🌞💖

Thank you Yolanda! It is a Aerides odorata orchid. Mine bloomed with creamy white flowers with a little pink coloring on petals and sepals and it is very fragrant. It is a beautiful orchid and grows so big it definitely deserves its own trellis.
