Tanzanite Blue is the bomb. It goes from bright metallic, to purple, to navy blue/black at night. Incredible, I can tell you from personal experience. If you have to choose between individual paint and interior, go for the paint.

Kind of interesting note that the gas pedal is responsive as the engine immediately revs as we see with the touch of her foot on the throttle, in the footwell shot. I use to think that drive by wire on BMW's delayed the response of the engine when the accelerator is pressed by a 1/2 sec or a few mili seconds. Am glad that false myth is cleared up really good video excellent new model I love that sound as well.

That is a nice blue. So few car companies can get blue right. Even BMW has had some over the years that were a little too purple. I liked that sunroof tilt demo, what a good idea. Since you were talking about the transmission, is there something in the computer that prevents it from going into park if you rest your hand on the control lever while you're driving?

BMW, Mercedes, Mazda...seems like everyone is doing it nowadays. Not sure how in the hell these things get greenlit. It's a horrible design. Looks like an android tablet perched up there. I could MAYBE understand it if you could somehow swap them out for newer designs, but everything is integrated and it's become clear that car companies don't really care about you or your expensive car outside of the lease/warranty period.

For my budget i am totally confused between taking a 440i M Sport GC or go humble with a standard 520d. Problem is i'll mostly be using the car with family and for office commute (which is off-course a free zone autobahn about 18kms near hannover) but then is it worth going the 440 route? Unfortunately 540 costs way too much with same standard configs

No man, you are misunderstanding Scott. He is saying that the Merino Leather which is an option you can select on most bmws is of the highest quality and is selected because it has no blemishes or scars. He's not saying the leather is impervious to getting marked and scuffed up. If you don't apply proper protection product and wear dark jeans you will ruin that leather.
