I know its a modern bike and it's very cool looking but it reminds me of the foldable 100cc bikes the paratroopers used in WWII. It's just the shape of the bike as the WWII bikes used a petrol 2stroke Norton/Villiers engine.

I bought mine a couple of months ago and it’s a cool small bike. Great acceleration and fast enough for around town. My only complaint is the seat is very hard when driving around for a half hour or longer. I just picked up the comfort seat and will see how that works out this weekend. I have had it about two months so far and it’s great.

Wow that is one interesting bike…it will be interesting to see BRP EV’s when you get Quebec. Good to see the wonderful Spyder all put back together and ready for the road. Have a great one👍

Such a cool-looking little bike. I'd love one in Thailand, but they are way too expensive. What we have, though, is a Chinese/Thai scooter/motorbike. It does a measured 0-50 KPH/31 MPH time of 1.8 seconds; faster top speed than the CE02 and better range. It doesn't look as good as the BMW, but it looks good. Like the CE02, it is a 125cc equivalent. It's called the Felo SW07, and it's much cheaper. Check it out, Shawn. Nick

Hi Sawn, I just looked it up and BMW is comparing the CE 02 to a 125 ccm Bike. But I do think it's a great little bike to commute to work if you're living in the city. (Honda Monky might be more fun?) Hope Kelly is good again. 😎✌️

Our GM said BMW was saying that in Vegas when he was down there for demo rides... All the test riders laughed about that, as the CE-02 would absolutely smoke something like a 125 Grom or Monkey..! There are six of us at work that own Grom's, and yeah, not a chance of keeping up with a CE-02... Lol I didn't know about BMW's 125cc claim during this test ride, or I would have a fun talking about that. Thanks Matt!! 👍

Do you know if you need a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license to ride the CE02 on the road? Where I live (IL) license class is based on 'cc displacement and electric scooters are sized on battery kW size, I assume. Here in IL anything under 50 cc's you do not need a motorcycle endorsement to ride it on the street. We have a few people locally who have electric bicycles and they ride on the street without a motorcycle endorsement. Just curious

We have the same rules for no endorsment for under 50cc bikes. BMW says this is equivalent to a 125cc class scooter, though there's not a 125cc scooter made that would come close to hanging with this 0 to 60 mph..! This CE-02 would eat Kelly's 2024 Honda Grom alive! Lol Here is Washington, this bike requires a motorcycle endorsement. I'll have to look into if they list kW specs for EV bikes, scooters and motorcycles... Thanks Ronald!! 👍

That thing set up like a bicycle where the rear brake is on the right hand and front brake is on the left hand?

It's standard motorcycle with the front brake on the right side. The left rear brake lever is surprisingly controlled and responsive. Along with the battery re-gen, it has amazing braking power for such a small bike. Thanks Doug!! 👍
