Simion Ursache The sound quality is exactly the same as the original Soundlink Mini II its just limited edition in terms of colour. Now compared to the old version soundlink mini I yes it does sound significantly better. Hope this has answered your question anymore questions feel free to ask! Much love Omar

Thanks for your answer ! The problem is have with SLM II is that it lacks the bass compared to SLM I. This is why i was curios how this model compares.

Simion Ursache In the SLM II thy have reduced the bass to create a more balanced sound, so the answer to your question is yes the bass is lower in the SLM II compared to the SLM I. Hope this helped bro!

@@halfcrazyluv1 same here, but I noticed that the rubber base on my special edition doesn't look new, but used with no visible logo at all! Did Bose just pull a fast one on me and sold me a refurbished unit? Did you have the same issue as well? If not then I'm returning it as soon as this lockdown is over!

Thanks for the review. I just noticed that the Bose logo seems to be printed on the front of the mesh unlike the other SoundLink Minis where the logo seems to be behind the front mesh. I'm waiting for my SLM II to arrive next week. Ordered one last July 11th at 129usd. Will compare the sound with my SLM I. Thx!

its really user friendly, rather smart. It speaks out the battery %, it speaks out what device it is paired or if more than one is paired it clearly mentions, these might seem silly things but these add to the whole UX tremendously. Upon direct simultaneous comparison with JBL charge 3, BOSE sounds much clearer in treble and mids, Bass is more pronounced as Bass, smooth vibrations rather than White noise(in JBL). I found phone calls seemless and even the VoIP whatsapp calls all work fine. It clearly mentions CALL ENDED when the call ends! thats laughable but indeed very intuitive because u could be away from ur phone/tab/ipad while taking a call. It even plays audio simultaneously from my Win10 laptop and android phone!!! Black n copper looks Classy. its a decent Personal Audio solution for Laptops and Hotel room usages; well worth the money.

How you doing? I have never heard the Razer Leviathan Mini physically, so I cant give a fair answer. However the soundlink mini 2 is one of the best I heard on the market and when I was testing them out in store came out on top compared to other speakers of that price range and functionality.
