awesome video and plow! this is our first year into snow removal. we went with 2 straight blades snowdoggs on our 2 trucks. after seeing this video I wish I would have spent the extra 4 thousand to get 2 of these! how has it held up over the last winter?

WRONG. I've owned a commercial snow removal company for 20+ years. First sign of an operator not knowing what they're doing is transporting a V plow in scoop mode. It puts all the weight of the plow out in front of the truck, causing all kinds of undue stress on the mount and frame of the truck. I don't "hide behind" anything. I'll meet anybody anywhere and stand behind what I'm talking about. The question is, WILL YOU?

just try not to load the hydraulic pump alot when it's not lifting any more or whatever. will wear out pump faster.

Looking at a new ram 2500 6.7 diesel looking for advice on what alternator i should get is 180amp ok do i need to go to a 220 or dual 220s (440amp)? Thanks

youll be fine with the 180amp key is have two batteries.

+Shane Yadon a 180 amp is more then enough, obviously if you have the option of higher capacity, its good to do so if its pratical. The cummins has 2 batterys which is the only important part

Its actually the 8'2, We have some very narrow driveway areas so we stuck with the smaller size. Truck would handle the 9'2 no problem.

Really like the DXT. Tip edge is smooth and this is our first plow with flared wings and that has really helped this year with the high banks. This is the older wiring style.
