Sir front disc pad iske cbr150 wale Hain agr aap genuine Honda k lete Hain to ye 1500-1600 k ajate.. n rear disc pad is of pulsar ug5 jiski genuine ki cost around 250 hai.. to total apke 3500 k under ajaate..

DRS in-fact using the rear brakes sparingly is a good habit and if its to be used it should be used with much less pressure in conjunction with front brakes to reduce the stopping distance in-case of an emergency. Use of rear break is mostly helpful in controlling/ dragging the bike in slow speed maneuvers (less than 15 Km/hr.) and also when stopping on slopes, where the bike tends to roll back and use of front break is avoided. Pardon my unsolicited suggestion.

Also because of the physics of braking, weight of the bike transfers to the front wheel during braking. So the front brake is designed to be much more powerful than the rear brake. As much as 80% of stopping power comes from the front brake. So learning to use the front brake correctly is very important, specially for bigger bikes.

You probably already know this, 70% of the braking energy should go to the front wheel, 30% to the rear. Reason why front has 2 discs. The pads too will wear evenly in that case. Thanks.

Deep bhai according to my suggestion don't buy radial tyres... They last only half than non-radial ones. And your riding pattern doesn't need radial coz you don't lean...go for road+offroad mixed tyres, they provide good grip and extra miles as well.

Deep bhai just got my f850s front brake pads replaced yesterday, costed me around Rs. 15,000 for a pair to be replaced. I would recommend to only get them replaced from BMW as the difference was massive in the riding. Struggling to find a new pair of Metzelers or Pirellis myself, will wait for your update on tyre replacement before changing mine.
