I felt your coverage was the best of the lot, and I've seen them all. I don't want big. I want small. I have the Compatto Target Regulated. I assume mine is the same as the "new" HR version? I gather that also has a Walther barrel, but not the poly? It is very difficult to find info on my gun. Any suggestions?

Thank you. I would say the barrels are probably the same but ya never know with the Brocock brought here... often they're tuned differently but yeah, my guess is that they're mechanically very similar if not the same. Steve

So Brocock doesn't have the unusual pellet system any more? If I am not clear, I have read that Brocock used have airgun pellets where one would charge the air in each pellet individually. Then those pellets were loaded more like bullets. I read it, but, never saw it.

So Claudio had a red wolf barrel on his winning Brocock last year. Nice mod. He had some nice glass on there too. Brocock looks good. The models with he red wolf barrels, highpowr should fire slugs well ? great video. I'm going to start buying stuff again. I see it coming.

I know they have them on the new DayStates, but I have no idea what it is? Have you done a video that I've missed on this "new" barrel? Hmmm.. I commented on this last night when it was first posted, but I don't see the comment so I'll try again. The price point of the Commander was initially supposed to be lower than that of the Sniper. In this video Shane suggests it will actually be higher. If you know Steve, which impression is the correct one?

I just have a quick question that wasn't very clear to me. Do all the sniper models come with a polygonal barrel or only the Patagonia model? I own a Red Wolf and it is the most accurate air rifle I have ever shot. I'd like to have an all mechanical version of it and was looking at a Wolverine but, the sniper would be a good option, too.

Only the high power models come with the polygonal. The rest come with lothar walther match grade. Steve

60 ft lbs with a 25.39gr 22 Cal? That means that pellet is flying at 1030 fps. I wonder how they are getting them to fly straight at that speed? Those lost stability in my gun at anything above 900fps

It has a Walther polygonal barrel and they like being shot at faster speeds

They arent 60 foot pounds in .22.The .22’s are coming from the factory about 44fpe .Redesigns at 870 fps.And at that speed,they are phenomenally accurate.Both my Bamtam hr hp .22 , and my xr magnum .22 came to me right about 44fpe.

Steve, you might not remember, but last year you helped me get my Streamline. That is another story. NOW I just bought the Commander Magnum and I cannot wait. Donnie Reed and Denis Baker @ bakerairguns.com have outdone themselves. At Christmas I bought a Compatto Target Regulated that just never reliably held air. Short story, they gave me full credit toward the Commander Magnum and I’m not looking back. The Compatto was damn accurate, equal or better every day than the Streamline. Thanks for this review. It drastically helped me decide on the Commander Magnum.
