New Brunswick Moose Hunt 2021

Great video, nothing like I the woods. The same for us we where hunting I zone 14 laketon hell gate .we herd a few calls but Thursday evening I managed to call one in but he was only staying like a 100 yards in the woods I had to go to him. Got a good shot and down he went. But is was to frigging warm .the moose was only traveling at night early in the morning and the last few hour before dark. A lot of hunters didn't get a chance even to see one. Where we where hunting there was a few groups of hunters i,m the only one that got something up that way. And usually hells gate is good for moose. Is like you said hunting is hunting. Just hope to get a tag for 2022. But love your videos doing a super job. And you had some dandy bulls on those trail pics. I live in Richibuctou Village , zone 19 and did call some nice one's a week after the season. Good luck for next season.

That was a hard working hunt I live in zone 19 I've been successful a few times there's moose in 19 but it's a hard hunt every road is a dead end and if it gets wet it's very muddy forget about driving you won't get far last few years it gets so warm lots of bugs definitely a challenge you guys kept at it that's what you have to do its not the renous that's for sure or farther north

Yeah. It was a hard hunt for sure but beats a day at work! I ain’t no Jim Shockey but usually can call a moose in every year. This year 2021 i couldn’t call one in. That’s hunting. Thanks for the comment! Good luck this fall

Hunter orange during archery season ? In Ontario is not required unless there is an open gun season for deer, moose or elk

New-Brunswick only has one 5 day season for moose. Gun or archery is the same time. Spring bear hunt doesn’t need hunters orange. Fall deer archery season you can remove hunters orange up in a stand only. New-Brunswick is way behind on every hunting situation!

Ya I built that stand in 2016. Was a good spot but yes the road has grown up around it. That was built before all before woods were cut down around it

Our season is a tag draw and 5 day season. The days are what natural ressources decide. It is not just a walk in the bush. The moose didn’t want to respond to the call. Was a hard year for most of us moose hunters.
