Keep an eye on that bucket pin with the 12” bucket. The cotter pins will get snagged and torn out and then the bucket pin falls out in the middle of a ditch and you can’t find it. Don’t ask how I know! 😉

I plan to keep some spare pins in the cab. I'd hate for that to happen.

I seriously considered a Chinese machine. At the end of the day the quality, resale, dealer support, parts and so much more isn't worth the discount of the Chinese machine. Go look at the build quality between the two machines and you will quickly see the difference.

Hey Andrew. Just watching video and noticed you swinging fully extended with a tree. Bad habit mate as the balance of machine is all different. On a slope you could roll! Keep dipper arm more up and down closer to the machine to keep stable.

I definitely understand what you mean. I've actually been testing tipping points off camera with logs, I knew this one wasn't near the weight to create a dangerous situation.

Remind me why you do not have a wood chipper that runs off the tractor PTO? Aren't wood chips much better for keeping the chicken house and run in clean-smelling shape, and later a good basis for your compost pile? I just cringe at the thought of all that wood chip material being burned instead.
