Dwj stats for unm : slowboy 111-118, pk 221, me 240, dps1 177, dps2 175 I have slowboi at 116, pk 221, me 241, dps1 177, dps2 178. I cant figure whats going wrong here. Before turn 7, me must apply unkillable, but he is applying it after turn 7 due to which slowboy is dying. I have 1speed higher than what dwj showed here. What do i do ?

If anyone else is having failures around turn 11-12, check your masteries. The support tree has a couple of turn boosting ones so avoid those. That was my mistake

And maybe show all setups with all affinities? I succeed to survive when CB is void, but not when magic. It seems that in my setup Fayne gets the stun, and I don’t know what to do to get rid of that. To survive I need aothar to get the stun, but it just lands on someone else. My setup now is ME, PK, Aothar, Fayne and either FB or occult

Yes having difficulties with NM personally as well. Everything checks out in Stun and Speed calculator. UNM I've not had issues but this NM seems to either desync and target ME midway.

First i do appreciate all the work jedi puts into his vids. I tried the team 10 times now. On the first run (void) it worked out even one damager died half way and finished with like 22 mil dmg. But all other runs im dying at turn 18-20 and i habe absolutely no clue why reason change every run. One run maneater comes in slightly to late with his A3, another turn uk falls of right before the aoe etc. thats exhausting. Hopefully u guys managed to run the comp

ME 240-241, PK 215-221, DPS 175-178, SB 111-118 (NM 121).... spirit UNM delay PK heal until turn 5 (during which pk attacks twice, A1 and then A2, otherwise the comp won't work), for NM the rotation is the same for all affinities (including spirit). Thank you DWJ!!!!! I am now able to 3key UNM and 2key NM even tho all of my champs are missing warmaster. I use 3 dps on rotation base on affinity- OB/FB/Aoth for slow boi I use bulwark who acts as a mini Vizier and helps extending buffs (especially poison sensitivity) so the two DPS poisoners always doing more damage than if I had another poisoner for slowboi.

No not dumb at all! I use a vizier with draco as the 175 speeds and frozen banshee as stun target. I got shit gear and I can 2 key thanks to viz he keeps the bar full so draco does double damage on each a1

Using this comp in 2022 and its brilliant. Thank you DeadwoodJedi. Only just pulled a maneater after my first 10 months playing. I use occult brawler as my stun target and lead, geomancer (faster than septimus) and septimus as dps, and of course maneater and painkeeper. I hit 45 million on my first UNM run ever. Worked like a charm. Geo and brawlers damage was surprisingly higher than expected. geos passive ramps up with the bosses damage something silly. I now 2 key UNM easy, 1 key NM n Brutal. Heike Postler I don’t think you can avoid it, but my understanding is it shouldn’t throw things out of sync. I haven’t been able to test it - however not using her a2 during the first cycle might make it work. If you figure it out let me know!

Huge tips.....slow boy needs to not heal them selves. No life steal...no masteries. There hp should be 8-10k more than the rest. So a critical by cb doesn't matter and def as low as possible. I hit all #s (speed, hp, def) and it didn't work until I raised hp more and lower def by 200 for slow boy. Worked perfect.

i put the same speeds in your calculator for ultra nightmare and around turn 9 the unkillable falls off before AOE 1. clearly it's supposed to be working because you are showing it in the video, but it shows something different in the speed calculator.

@@nitescens4430 you mean spirit affinity? the spirit affinity boss applies decrease speed debuff on his a2. you need to cleanse it off quickly to maintain a tune.

Amazing comp, can't thank you guys enough. . . Quick tip though, I had to use 120 speed for SlowBoi (not 121) on nightmare. Not sure why, but just in case any of you are having trouble with your Stun target loosing immunity too soon, this could be your issue.

Hey I have a problem maybe you can help. On Nightmare Clanboss everything goes smooth until round 18 - there my “slowboy” occult browler gets killed and so the round is over soon. So he goes right before the Clanboss, so he's unkillable goes away and the cb kills him afterwards. What is the issue? Like it goes well so lomg and all of a sudden is seems like to be too fast 🤔 (no masteries nor speed sets on him)

Guys I've got help and now it's all good. Check if you have the acrane celerity mastery on other champs. If you do, build a new mastery without it. This worked for me.

With Aothar on UNM, I'm delaying his a2 by one turn, that way, your debuff extender attacks after Aothar is putting the poisons.

I can't, for the life of me, get this to work for me. Got ME, PK, FB, Aothar and Luthiea (tried it also with Rhazin, but had to put him back into the arena and there I need far more speed). Got all the champs speeds on point, fully booked ME and PK... stun calculator shows me all green. But on rounds 6-8 the whole thing falls apart and my team fails. Still, loooove your videos as they're very informative and go into detail without being boring. Keep on keeping on, and may the old force be with you, always ;)

Still working in Aug 2021, thanks for this, i pulled a maneater yesterday to my delight and away we go :D has taken ages to fine tune it, ive only used it on NM as thats all ive had time for haha. one of my dpser died early and think the other was just sitting back admiring the geo haha (more fine tuning needed) but my geomancer (also stun target) did 16 mil dmg, wasnt quite 1 key, 26mil total... but got through all the turns, we all gotta start somewhere right? thanks again

I got my team working fine on the 3 different difficulties. However, I do need better gear and champs to get good numbers. I need to get my frozen banshee, bulwark, and rhazin to really hit hard or I simply need better champs. I can’t even 2 key NM with this team while I 2 key it with apothecary, sandlashed, sepulcher, rhazin and occult brawler

woscanl Sorry I have not responded sooner but this team has turned out bad over time. The settings are so sensitive and can fail so easily depending on arena placing, or when I leveled my great hall bonuses. I have wasted so much time and silver re-adjusting over and over again that I gave up. I really can’t and won’t start another drive for unm until I get a counter attacker.

While I do thank any of you guys doing these videos, you all keep missing ONE IMPORTANT THING for the setup. Great Hall levels. Your Great Hall has a HUGE impact on stats and team effectiveness but no one ever shows the levels of the GH being used. I've tried these setups on a level 1 GH and up to a level 3 with the exact same gear and setups but come nowhere near the stats and damage being shown in videos like these from Deadwood Jedi, Ash, or Hell Hades even. Please start showing those setups too since those do impact the setup and team comps. Thank you for the informative videos though!

Maneater 241 Spd with a speed set. Pain Keeper 221 no speed set. Slow Boi 114 no speed set. If it doesn't work for you try hitting the upper limit of the speed ranges. Fixed my problem.

My PK keeps getting the speed debuff in UNM, and the whole thing falls apart. I have started to regear my doompriest(who I know will be negative affinity), but if there are other ways to fix this issue, I would love the help!

ok just to let everyone know if u read this earlier, for spirit affinity u can just avoid using pk a2 all the way until before 2nd stun, then pk will back on track for the speed tune cycle. problem solved!

deadwood! just pulled maneater today and wanted to try this comp. but i saw on your website on the unm calc for this setup which used skullcrusher as the default stun target but wasnt in this video. i want to build the exact team but wont the tm gain from PK counter attacks throw the tuning off? or is that accounted for? also thanks for the content!

Took me forever to get nightmare to work. Turns out, Aothar's "Life Drinker" mastery was screwing up the fight. My Aothar hits significantly harder than Maneater, so Aothar was getting larger heals from the life drinker mastery with each hit. Around turn 30ish the CB decides to target Maneater because Aothar was getting larger heals (even tho Aothar's HP is ~46,000 and DEF ~1,250 while Maneaters HP is ~34,000 and DEF ~2,500). Removing the life drinker mastery from Aothar was the solution!

Used the calculator for UNM, using skullcrusher, as it came by default. Respected every single tip and rule, but still only worked on turn 10 and above, and only if Unkillable was placed on turn 1.5 instead of at the beginning, AND if slow boi remained at 114 speed instead of 121. Under these circumstances, everything looks dandy on the calculator. Problem: Maneater and PK are already above 50k hp, and slow boy was going to be set at 1.20% of PK hp, so the new note on "no more than 50k hp allowed" killed me, spent a fortune to get there and wasn't written on Rust's tips. A huge thank you anyway, even when most likely no one's gonna read this, had to add my 2cs hoping it helps, because the work put on the calc is HUGE and am super grateful regardless. PS: Went though Rust's notes again, punched them into the calc and yes, with slow boi (skullcrusher cause he shrugs off stun) at 124 as he says, it still works as long as the above is still respected. Now, off to watch the second video on this one 😀

If it works in the calculator and not in game it means one of 3 things: you input stuff wrong (forgot sets, los, or base speeds), you have masteries affecting tm, your skill timing is off or affecting tm. watch the run following the turns in the calc and see exactly where you go wrong and you should be able to dissect the issue.

This comp works perfectly for me on UNM but seems to be desyncing at turn 17 on NM (after gearswap to change slow champ to 121 spd). My slow champ takes a turn before stun there where he didn't in previous rounds. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

Same for me, unm works fine but nm doesn’t. I assume somethings not right with the speed calculations.

Hey thanks for the video it's really good. I was wondering, does Fayne work well? My comp would look like (attack order): 1 maneater 2 pain keeper 3/4 Fayne 3/4 Royal Guard / high dps chamion (best champ that is not debuff extender) 5 aothar Do you think this setup could work? Might not be enough damage tbh but I can't test it yet. Thanks in advance.

Maneater doesn't have to be fully booked, right? I don't think 20% more damage means too much in cb. But does he use A2 at all? Would the one more turn of cool down (unbooked a2) mess up this run? I don't think he should use A2 at all since cb is immune to TM reduction.

Hey DeadwoodJedi, do you have any idea why Jintoro would be breaking my Budget Unkillable team? Simply put, I have a team consisting of Maneater, Painkeeper, Geomancer, Frozen Banshee, and Rowan (Stun Target), that 100% works on both Ultra-Nightmare (35-36M) and Nightmare (38-39.5M) no issues, no turn meter masteries or anything that might break speed tune. I wanted to try replacing Frozen Banshee with Jintoro, to try get a more cosistent 1-Key Nightmare to allow Brutal each day for extra rewards. He is geared Identical to Frozen Banshee as far as Speed, Hp, and Defence are concerned, and seems to be avoiding stun reliably, however for some unknown reason putting him in the team "magically" speeds up Rowan out of nowhere and she starts taking turns before the stun (losing Unkillable and Block Debuffs). Painkeeper's A1 states that it boosts HER turn meter, noone elses, and Jintoro's reads that it increases turn meter boosts on HIM by 50%, meaning that in theory they should be irrelevant in this instance. I don't know if I'm just blind and am missing something or it's just glitching out? Any insight would be greatly appreciated as literally nothing in the rest of the team has changed, and in theory Jintoro should just slot in to Frozen Banshee's position, and it's doing my head in trying to work out the issue, as stated nothing in any of the champions descriptions explain it from what I can see. So on your site for the build. It says in the Unm section to wait till turn 5 when doing spirit affinity before using A2. Is that the same for Nm? Do you still wait till turn 5?

Just tested today and share a few findings. 1. For nm, not only slow Boy speed has to be 121, make sure dps "true speed" is over 175. Otherwise, slow Boy moves after maneater in turn 15/16, and moves again in turn 17 - unkillable is gone before stun. 2. For unm, looks likes speed of 119 also works (on slow boy). In short, always double check in DWJ's calculator....it is very accurate

Hi @deadwoodjedi would using skullcrasher as one of the DPS ruin the composition due to the counter-attack? Do they count as a turn using up one of the unkillable buffs?
