Nice bin! We are still using trash bins for our 40 sheep haha. Mostly grass and hay fed tho.

You're going to have extra time with the lutenists this Spring, homeschooling starts in the shop or fields assisting Dad, online learning can be rainy days or evenings. Good looking mini grain leg you have going!

Nice new bin. You seem to be enjoying the extra “help”. These are the times you and the kids will always cherish. So do you blend each ingredient in the bins with ground ear corn as your grain ration?
@GeigerFarm4 жыл бұрын
Yup! Different bins, different grains. I am enjoying it more than the kids 😉

I think savings was $500. The real goal was my own quality control. We have built several bins and are very particular on construction!

I remember when I was about 4 we put 3 together for the mix-mill. I don't remember being much help but I do remember climbing out the lid and the bottom a bunch. What are you going to put in yours?

The three hoppers hold feed ingredients! Small is wheat tails, mid for soybean splits and new/large for oats or barley. Thanks...it’s funny how memories stick with you 🙂

They go all over. Most markets though are "local"...NE Kansas. Wheat has gone to Stafford County several times. Seed beans Have gone to IA for the last 15 years!
