I am French and I have seen peau d'âne several times, it is inspired from a French fairytale. It is categorized as a musical with a 60's pop esthetic. I agree that the ending is quite weird. If you liked it you might enjoy the 1946 la Belle et la Bête from Cocteau that has the same whimsical fairytale feel, but less songs and in black and white.

@@PlantBasedBride It is different from the Disney version, but it is still quite good given how old it is and the actor who plays the king in Peau d'Ane also played in it. It might be hard to find though!

This is so cute and functional! I've been a bullet journaler for the past 4 years but recently got into filling it out every day. I only use a monthly overview spread + weekly spreads and have been looking for new things to incorporate. I'll definitely be using the dopamine menu and future log setup!!!!! I hope the next 6 months look like the 💝💃 emojis as I try to become more socially outgoing!

☮ I use a quarterly future log and I've been using your dutch door weekly with a task list and weekly habit tracker on the far right panel that I saw on one of your old videos. It's worked well for me this last year, but I am noticing I'm ready for the next iteration. I don't know if I want to go so far as to cut my pages to create a monthly block like you do (though I love it!). I'm on the lookout something simple and effective that will work for me as my life and planning needs continue to change.

A lot of adhd people say they need all the decorations to keep them using a planner, but I go to the other extreme where mine is just using fancy writing for headers and line thickness of any functional, drawn out grids. The decorations distract me. They are pretty to watch, and I could land in hyper focus so easily doing it. But then nothing gets done except that, and each time I look at it, I get sucked back into the decorations instead of planning. I was diagnosed about 1 1/2 years ago, and it has explained so many things I have always done. I think I binge watched almost all of How to ADHD's videos after the diagnosis. I am still unmedicated and working through other coping strategies to assist since I react weird to medicine a lot. (I would gladly try meds faster if not for my reactions.) So I wish you good luck in finding what works for you even if it takes some time. It is certainly worth it.

I’m definitely one of those people who needs the creative artistic side to keep me going with it, but I completely get why it wouldn’t work for a lot of people! I’m trying medication but it’s definitely a journey. The best advice I can give for someone like myself with ADHD is have a schedule of events during your day. I also have reminders on my phone and I have an alexa it is a wonderful tool I have it set up to go off every hour to remind me of what time of day it is so the day doesnt slip away and I wonder where did all my time go.. It might sound annoying Let me tell ya this thing has saved my life I have a set schedule I have a list of things that need to be done in the allotted time than I usually have time inbetween those times to do the fun things that one can do to keep me happy.. anyway I hope that helps... just remember that you are exactly where you need to be and dont just do something stand there ... take care

Love your word - Halcyon! Last year mine was Selah. Found in the Bible after a Psalm. It means: Pause, and think calmly about that (what was written above) ------- I love the ADD Menu spread idea. ❤ I have a friend who has PTSD. Her counselor suggested she write out some steps to take for when she gets triggered, and to tape it to the back of her phone. I have anxiety. I put a page or 2 on my phone for imagery. I'm using Aesthetic Widgets App to put widgets for displaying a rotating display of selected groups of imagery from my gallery app. When I'm feeling anxious and need a dopamine fix, I open my phone to the widgets page and watch the images and memes scroll by for a few minutes. ------- Thank you for sharing!!! Hugs & Sparkles! 🫂❤️✨

I am def gonna use the waiting on page. There is one delivery company that always delay the packages and sents notifications about it like an hour before it is suppose to arrive and give a new time or date so you can never trust them. I just always forgets which company it is and this would help me get an overview so I can pick another if option is available. Some times I would rather pay a little extra to know it will arrive on time. Thank you for sharing so generously.

I was watching Dr. David Amen, brain expert. He mentioned one of his patients with ADD who eliminated eggs and gluten and was much better a week later. One thing about grains that most people don't know is that farmers use Roundup weed killer in the harvesting process... even in "organic" grains... It's not required for farmers to report it's usage because it's an industry standard. I know you live in Canada, but research how much grain is imported from the USA and other countries... It's a lot. Cheerios has the highest amount of RoundUp in this cereal than any other food! It's most grains wheat, oats, barley, rye... that are harvested with RoundUp. Some rice (from China?) is loaded with arsenic 😢. 💖🌞🌵😷

I want to set up a journal with multiple flip outs, one would have the shift work calendars we use at my facility. Another would have common reference numbers/codes. Another would have our routine check in schedule and key dates. I currently have them in sections but it would be so much better as a tip in/fold out. Just haven’t quite figured out how to organize that many.

I like your menu. I might add it to the thing I’m trying. “Windows of open or closed” for when I am not getting good with work. Don’t snack if it is 1h around food time. As I tend to snack 30min before lunch and then I remember I “I should be hungry” Plus windows when it would be good to do a walk or house work. Not run off to them when I just don’t want to do the work.

@@PlantBasedBride they are children’s fairy tale. At least the version I read way back when. But Puss in the boot’s (Chat botté), Little Red Riding hood (Le petit chaperon rouge), Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty they are all Perrault’s tales. My favorite of him was Barbe Bleu where a woman marry a man and find that he killed his previous wife’s. She’s able to escape. It was a nail bitter for me (terrified 8 years old😁). You can have a book that comprise most of his tales “Les conte de Perreault”. I had version with nice drawings. I think I need to go shopping for it. I’m feeling nostalgic. I was not understanding why you said the ending of Peau d’Âne left you perplex. I had to Google it and I have no memory of that ending! Might have missed it but in my defence I saw that movie in around 1978…. It’s been a minute.

Anyone who has Patreon please help: I came from the website and read the different subscription plans, I want to sub because I saw that it has downloadable and printable monthly’s. However I do my journaling digitally right now because I don’t have a printer. Are we able to use the downloads on a digital journal? Or does it only come in JPEG/PDF format? Im hoping since it’s a subscription it includes PNG format. Please let me know. If it includes PNG format I will definitely sub. Tysm in advance.😊

I’ve been sharing them in PDF format! No one has requested PNG but that’s something I could implement moving forward ❤️

I do! I started at 4 years old and danced through college (musical theatre school) and for most of my twenties (I was performing professionally). I took a break when COVID started but am now getting back to regular ballet barre at home and it just feels right ❤️

@@PlantBasedBride So great!! So you can sing too? I have also danced professionally at the National Ballet School in the Netherlands (10-18 years old). Then I had to stop because of foot injury. Now it’s two years later and I managed to start again, just as a hobby. It feels so good to do a ballet routine again. I miss performing though. I also started with singing and I love it!!😍 Thank you for sharing this!
