Painting/customising your own journal cover - what a great idea! And such a gorgeous cover - so bright, colourful and cheery. I LOVE the gold! It really took the cover to a next level. (I love Typo too! It's always one of my first stops when I get to a city shopping centre). Such a pretty cover page, too, and I like how you tied the washi tape and its colours into all the pages. X

If you really want to make your art on the cover last for a even longer time, put some mod podge on it. They have gloss or matte. It’ll keep the art clean and safe and last for a very long time! I use it for everything now to make my art last longer. Especially on my canvases. The cover is so gorgeous, definitely should be preserved!

That cover came out awesome and the origami pages as well. I am an avid reader and movie watcher, and I started a That's Entertainment spread in every BUJO. I print the thumbnail of the book or movie and write notes about it and what I learned. I wanted to make a conscious effort to remember my life. I've come to the realization that this is the best thing for my brain and memory. I made my mother write out her day to help her memory and I put that in my chapter of how I helped my mother out mentally. Thanks and looking forward to Malaysia.

I have a seperate journal for my Reading. Last year it was the challenges is am part of and a decorative spread each month with a list of books, their authors and my star ratings. This year its the challenges but then monthly bujo set up for reading with the 4 main book groups im part of and a mixed media type double A5 page spread for those. Of course I read over 100 books a year so needed plenty of space haha
