AWII has been long awaited at this point. The original wasn’t well liked for a long time, but much like every game in the COD cycle, it eventually becomes loved and it’s found its footing. Let’s hope the same doesn’t happen for Vanguard.

I think what people mainly didn’t like was the intro to loot boxes. AW was and still is a great and fleshed out game compared to the lore recent titles

I’m very surprised about that, I thought it was leaked that Microsoft created a division in Activision that would make key decisions about the future of CoD’s systems like omnimovement and the studios would left to be focus on maps and storytelling. I’m also surprised because I thought they would want to distance themselves from Kevin Spacey but if it’s a sequel I’d assume Irons would at least be referenced. Maybe because it’s an ongoing project they’re going to let them have it, but it seems kinda risky for Microsoft considering how bad the situation got with cod when Infinite Warfare came out with exos and people were really upset.

Sledgehammer always wanted to make Advanced Warfare 2 after they made the first one, but they've always were the ones forced to make other projects like WWII, co-develop Cold War, Vanguard, and MW23, they were so sick and tried of being pushed around by Activision, they straight up denied to make CoD2025, so they could make their own game.

Hot take. AW zombies was the most Well developed zombies mode. And they listened to the community. With every zombies map that came out they fixed pretty much every problem. First map was too small. 2 had an annoying search and rescue task they didn’t even bother putting in the rest of the maps. 3 pretty much had no problems besides glitches to break the rules. 4 they took all the advice from the community and put together descent. And tbh AW zombies and multiplayer maps were the best maps ever for a call of duty and the fact we had exo suits made it better.❤

Hopefully it also allows to have different narrative continuities. I hate the blending of MW and BO with a passion. Also if we are to have a game formula of : new game + year 2 released as a new game, let's have MW5 followed by Ghosts 2 with the Carry Forward feature. G2 could have new maps plus remastered from the G1 and MW catalogue, in addition to Extinction 2.

@@PrisonSoap I've seen some COD content creators saying that AW2 is supposed to be in 2027. I would love to see a sequel to Ghost. It wasn't _the_ best Cod, but I really enjoy the premise. The idea that _my_ country could just conquer the entire continent was so hilarious.
