Follower dungeons. Blizzard could make it so the NPC's talk about it. Mention mechanics of the next boss & what to prepare for, talk about the story & lore of the place. Could even be all voiced. With the option to turn it off. They could also offer you quests that you are eligible for that are specific to it that you don't have in your quest log.

I think it was on Taliesin's preview or something, but in Nokhud they said something about ending Clan Nokhud's bloodshed, and in Ruby for the 2nd boss someone said "Look out for her fire attacks." So it isn't super in depth, but kinda cool. They also react to what is going on, cheer you on. The Mage even summoned a Mage table at the start of one of the dungeons so we're already better than real mages.

There's something very similar in FFXIV, called the Trust System (or, in older content there was also the squadrons), and it's very popular with solo players or those who don't want to wait in a queue, so seems like a classic blizzard move to see something someone else is doing and yoink it to put their own spin on it!

I think the "voting on your tier set" is also a way for them to get data about where they were successful with class design, and what types of gameplay each class enjoy. Prob has its upside and downside, but should be interesting to look at. I felt that way when they let people vote on the M+ pool. Great way to see how players engaged with it before they rolled it out to a greater extent in DF.

It's just pitting players of different gameplay styles against each other. It's not good data. The M+ dungeon vote was terrible as well. The thing is the majority of players are super casuals and they just want whatever makes them think the least, not what is best. That is detrimental to the rest of the playerbase. Then there is also the fact that some sets are better for PvP or M+ or Raid, again splitting the vote. It's a mess. Some specs are gonna get shafted cause of this.

Yeah, I really don't like that seasonal content has FOMO rewards. I'd be more okay with it but it's starting to spread into solo/outdoor content.. bad enough I have to worry about a heroic raid mount at the end of each expansion without also having Fated and potential full-expansion metas and junk. Give players a little medal UI people can inspect to see what FOMO content they've managed to do, but cosmetics and the like shouldn't be time limited.

It's why I'm not crazy about the trading post. Basically it's punishment for skipping out on a couple months. And people always say items will rotate back into the Trading Post, and that might be true for some random stuff like the cloaks or tabards, but I don't think any of the mounts have ever came back. And again, I will have to play during another unspecified time maybe a year or more later only to get a chance at seeing the items again. Constantly I see an interesting transmog or a cool mount or something I always look it up to see how it's obtained and it's always a trading post reward from 8 months ago that has never returned. After coming back and seeing the magenta cloud serpent and how they gave out free spectral tiger cubs when I was away from WoW, it didn't want to make me keep playing and use the trading post, it made me want to play a different game that doesn't have FOMO. And I know none of these are tied to player power and it's purely cosmetic, but it's still frustrating.

I tried the Follower dungeon, thinking the NPCs will be rather passive. Yet on my run of Nokhud Offensive, despite I was the leader and not the NPC, the NPC tank decided to aggro ALL of the mobs as far as he could see around the hills of Teera and Maruuk boss. I just couldn't believe my eyes that the tank decided to Leroy Jenkins the dungeon. And before I got to my senses, he was dead, and then of course me.

Here is a thought: Arcology is a piggy back skill to other forms of gathering. Based on skill level you have a chance to trigger a "dig" when ever you mine, herb, or skin (sometimes animals eat something), every time you loot a chest, or mob, or something. THen you get an unknown artifact for a given zone/sub-zone that is fitting. Then you take the artifacts to the college and do mini games to uncover what these artifacts are and TADA! You discovered something!

The whole problem with setpieces is that they have SET stats. even though you catalyst. Makes it impossible to run whatever stats you want to farm for. Catalyst should just add the SET-PIECE slot bonus to the already set item. Would be soo much better than it is now! :) Because when its set stats, all from same class have the same stat-setup -_-

My two cents, is that the Legendary was let down because in a druid themed patch, it was a weapon that looked like it belonged from Firelands and not the Emerald Dream. Emerald Dream content and no legendary for the druids? Also, DKs/Pallys/Wars have five legendaries weapons (including the current one) that they have available to them. So when they said "Look another 2-hander" it was disappointing when priest and mage has two and warlock has one, and they got those in Cataclysm... fourteen years ago.

All well and good, definitely some interesting changes and potential design attempts for the future. What I'd personally like is being able to proudly recommend the game to friends without dropping them into the disjointed mess that is the Chromie Time leveling experience. Revamp the world; take an entire expansion's length of time to do it. Clean it up, give the new players a clean means of enjoying the game while they level. Many complaints I've read and heard coming from newcomers is that most of what they're accustomed to in the leveling experience is discarded when you get to the max level, and the entire game with its niche of different systems integrated around each expansion feel 'useless' and 'worthless'. Will it happen? Probably not. Would it be a gesture of TLC? Absolutely. Does it matter? Who knows.

Alliance has gotten too much lately. Seems like the whole game revolves around them now. They get a new Night Elf Capital (while undead gets nothing), they get an entire Gilneas retaking event (anything for Goblins?), basically all of 10.2 was Night Elf Story/lore, 10.2.5 continues the Alliance centric content. Every story is centered around Tyrande or Anduin. At this point we might as well start taking bets on which Horde leader becomes a raid boss in War Within/Midnight. Also, War Within seems to be mostly be based on Earthen (Dwarves) and underground Humans ...

Doing all the dragonriding races and raw gold world quests nets about 10k weekly per character and takes about 30mins. I'm sure there are much better ways to earn gold but I do this weekly on 2-3 characters and I haven't had to buy a token all expansion

I feel like the Fyr'alath legendary is pointless; its got a shitty amount of RNG involved, you get tokens to put towards an invisible 'bad luck protection' scheme and the weapon may or may not perform well depending on the balancing of it. On top of that, the expansion is essentially over, so youre not getting any real use of out it beyond 'bragging rights' and transmog (unless you were luck as hell to loot it early on) /shrug You'd be better off just making it a very rare cosmetic, that way it doesnt affect how a certain set of specs perform during the season, especially if what Bellular said is true, that Strength 'toons are/were tuned with having the legendary equipped in mind, thus meaning they under-perform when they dont have it. (and i have noticed such things to boot)

For many specs they are going to end up with the S3 set again. I like the idea in a way to bring back the sets, but I would rather have them balance all three sets than end up with another half a year with the same playstyle. I totally wouldnt mind switching between S1, S2 and S3 on my Enhancment Shammy. Play storm in this dungeon, play old reliable elemantalist in another, that sounds like fun. But I understand and can relate why they dont want to do it. But I totally see myself just burning out after a month because there is nothing new gameplay wise. I dont mean this as a whine and moan, just the reality.

I wanted the bronto for the brontoness, not the portable AH. Despite working my ass off trying to raise in-game money old-school, because I hated the AH, I failed. I also can't afford to be buying gold with real life money. So yeah, one of the coolest mounts in the game, and it was out of reach for me. That sucked, especially after having tried so dang hard. I do wish Blizz wouldn't time gate these things and think that blind gambling (on the Black Market) doesn't just prolong the bad feeling. It does. Especially once (twice) the player wastes months' worth of in-game gold made outside the AH only to get easily-farmed or crafted pieces. I think they don't realize how shitty it feels not to be able to achieve the coolest things by actually playing the game rather than engaging in gambling, grift, or AH gouging.

The leggo is a glorified stat stick and nothing else. If they removed the channel and allowed us to cast while it's going off, then maybe. But it is not worth sacrificing 2-3 GCDs because you lose DPS when you do. I'm also tired of being passed up because warriors aren't pumping like other classes. Being tuned to a legendary that has a low drop rate and high cost feels so incredibly bad and it just bars a lot of the 2h classes. The most recent damage stats on WoWhead show Arms being close to Aug DPS average lmao

Probably not going to be Pirate stuff. Just something that is kept a secret. Like there is nothing writen there. And yet every other patch is basicly there. We know what is going to be added and happening. But the skull and bone one,... nothing. Not even a feature. not even a word. But Black and white, skull and bone. And i dont care if you dont agree... but Pirate.. Not. It would be way to easy if it is a pirate patch. But what could they even do. Just randomly do the nightsqual thing. But then what could they even do? Pirates in Dragon Isles? Island Expedition stuff would make more sense. But otherwise... Not really. I think its just them having some secret features and events that they want to keep a secret. Hell. Maybe even the Archeology update that they mentioned would happen. it would make sense considering that the current comming patch is Azerothian archives... Basicly an archeology event.
