We are showing a new campground that is being developed in our little town of Kincaid, Illinois. This area had been a village burn pile (yard waste), but because of nice lake views, they decided to open it up for seasonal camping. Last spring the village created 10 campsites with electric hookups, but they are currently installing water and sewer lines. The campground is in its early stages of being developed; although the seasonal sites are up and running. The South Fork Dirt Riders Club is just up the road so this would be a convenient spot to camp for people who are participating in events (Memorial Day & end of July are two planned events). There is limited, and pricy, camping at the Dirt Riders facility, but none is full hookup. The village looks to be doing a pretty good job on the campground, and we look forward to seeing how it turns out. (We'll do an updated video in a few months.)
The village office phone number is 217/827-5543. Current pricing is $35/night for campsites and $25 for boat sticker. The first link listed below is for the Kincaid Lake site that has the current pricing and reservation information.
