Are you able to calculate the ml that was used to create those photos with the neon. I notice the cartridges come in 130ml and 300ml for the gpf-300.

Hi Great video and more or less what everyone else is saying about the new inks :) I'm looking at a new printer but i mostley do black and white picters is there some major difference in contrast there between the printers ?

Hi , what paper should I buy for best prints on gp 4000. We just loooking to hangs as a home art or transfer to acrylic so we need all colors to pop and be really bright and best quality . Thank you

In this particular demonstration, we used 260gsm pearl/lustre paper. We used this as one of the more common paper's photographers will use. Spoiler alert : I called Canon and they said the fluro pink pigment is not archival and will fade over a year. So not for Fine Art but good for shop posters.

I wonder if you could spray a UV finish over top to extend the life of it.

@@zacharysearcy I was only talking to Canon Germany in the last days and I brought up the GP 4000 again and they said what I already commented. The real problem is if your selling these prints you can give no guarantee that they will last over the next couple of years. If it's for you try all the experiments you like Zach and please report back in the next 5 years. .

@@Neil-Aspinall yea, for sure. I have artist friends who have toner transfers that have lasted 10+ years with UV and gel medium coatings, but yea guess you can’t make any promises.

That would be the same problem for offset prints as well. So no news here. But great you brought it up, it’s really important if you sell prints
