I Took out the R5 for its first test drive to "The Wedge" in Newport Beach California to shoot some Skim Boarding & Surfing. Air temp 75º Water temp 75º
Everything was shot in 4k 120. All handheld to test the IBIS. The final shot show's how amazing the autofocus really is. Managing the Canon R5's timer by turning off the camera in-between set waves allowed me to sit there for a couple hours, capturing everything I wanted with NO overheating warning.
Glass used: RF 24-70mm L & Canon EF 100-400mm L (viltrox adapter)

Nice vid! I loved those slow-mo bird clips you wove in. Why is it only 1080p? Nice to see someone actually making the 4k120 work rather than complaining about it.

Thanks! The project file is 1080p so I you could see the punched in 2x shots from the 4k. Also I believe youtube is limiting bandwidth and only allowing 1080p since covid.. I could be wrong.

@@ThinkSteez Yes, you incorrect about youtube not allow beyond 1080p content. I was just watching r5 8k yesterday!
