Hey you guys! Today I tried Cantu's New Styling Gel. They recently dropped 3 new maximum hold gels, so I picked up the one with Jamaican black castor oil for strengthening. Watch to see how it defined my curls, and whether I like it or not.

I just can't do Cantu anymore because of flakes and residue. And I really tried to like them. I don't gravitate to their products or shea butter products. However, your hair always turn out great with whatever products you use, even if you may not like the product.

Shingling is always the key. No need to always twirl, but the shingle locks in the style - ESPECIALLY if you sit under a hooded dryer - why oh why did it take me so long to figure that out - now my styles last for days.

The Honey one is really nice. I had Soft Hair & No Crunchy hair. Movement over everything! *Also Cantu products never gives me flakes either. Maybe it’s the water to product ratio we use🤷🏽‍♀️ Cute as always Hazel💕

Me too that’s the main reason I stopped using Cantu and when I would wet my hair and brush it out the next day so much cream would come out like wowwww.

Hello, I have that issue all the time with my wash n go. My ends are define and my roots are frizzy. I use eco, wetline, and a variety of other gels. Idk if it technique or what but it’s very annoying!!!

@@simplyme6621 Definitely more water. Sometimes a bit more gel, but for me the frizzy roots and defined ends were helped with misting more water on each new section I'm about to style - even if it's already wet.

I love your definition but cantu doesn't work for me sadly. It dries out my hair and makes my scalp itch. I especially hate their pomade. The only products that I like are the leave in and coconut curling cream.
