This was such a good remake. I was 7 when it was broadcast. I absolutely loved it and still do. I'm so annoyed that it never got a third season. There's so much more you can do with it, especially with how the characters were written. If Jamie Anderson or anyone from Anderson Entertainment is reading this, bring this show back. It deserves to be given a second chance. Oh and by the way at 32:48 to 33:04, Kill Bill reference!!!

Great writing behind the idea that while Scarlet is indestructible he can't be flippant with it. No point taking a bullet if the enemy can just reload and try again. Dude has to know for a fact that a suicide run is his last resort and can only be used in cases of a total victory.

On a related note, how he isn’t actually completely indestructible. I mean, his powers are no good in “Best of Enemies”. Running out of oxygen in the bottom of a frozen lake is a unique situation. And of course high-level electrocution.

@@tristankawatsuma8962 Yeah, one of those types where he'd have to be out of ongoing damage to retro-metabolise back to full health. Read the Operation Sabre comic if you can, he gets put through the ringer there when a black ops group has him arrested to see what kills Mysteron replicants.

Saying that something "didnt age really well" is a detracting and superficial way of pointing out its age, a factor that should not be considered an imperfection. You're essentially saying that it's too indicative of its time to be good, which is ridiculous.

Great series but good grief, the "Instruments of Destruction" Scarlet was ugly.. So glad they changed his character model in subsequent episodes

They tried to make him look like the original puppet from '67 when the series was in production. There is footage of the animators making clay models of recreations of some of the original face models but somewhere along the line, production shifted and the series went to a different animation studio after the first two episodes were done.
