Chased a gremlin similar to what you are experiencing. Turned out the coil wasn't getting enough voltage. Resistive switch! Changed it out and got the stumble out and power back. ??????????????

We changed the MSD and Coil. Still stumbled.

The switch was the problem. It wasn't allowing enough voltage to the coil.
