மார்க்கெட்டில் எந்த வாகனம்? வாங்க வேண்டும். எது சிறந்தது ?அதை எவ்வாறு பராமரிப்பது! என பல்வேறு விஷயங்களை அலசி ஆராய்ந்து பல தகவல்களை நேயர்களுக்கு வழங்கி வரும் (பிர்லா பார்வை) தங்களுக்கு நன்றி.. எனக்கு மட்டும் அல்ல! பல கார் பிரியர்களுக்கு நேர்ந்த சங்கடம் என்னவென்றால், சமீப காலமாக ஹோண்டா (Honda)கார் ஷோரூம்க்கு வாகனம் வாங்க வரும் போது மட்டுமே விழுந்து விழுந்து கவனிப்பது, பாதகத்தை தவிர்த்து, சாதகத்தை மட்டுமே கஸ்டமரின் தோல் மீது ஏறி உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு பணத்தை மட்டும் குறிக்கோளாக வைத்துக் கொண்டு, உதட்டில் தேனை தடவியது போல் ஆஹா... ஓஹோ.. என கதைப்பது. ஒரு மட்ட ரகமான யுக்தியை கையாண்டு வருகின்றனர். கார் எடுத்த பின்னர் சர்வீஸுக்கு செல்லும் பொழுதும், இன்சூரன்ஸ் குறித்த ஆண்டு பாலிசி புதிபிப்பு விஷயங்களுக்கு அவர்களிடம் கேட்கும்பொழுது டீலரின் அலட்சியம் நம்மை ஆத்திரத்தை மூட்டும் அளவிற்கு உள்ளது. (உதாரணமாக சென்ற ஆண்டுக்கான இன்சூரன்ஸ் பாலிசி தொகை 16 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் செலுத்தி இருக்கிறோம் என்றால் இவ்வாண்டு எவ்வளவு? என கேட்டால் 27 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் என கூறுகிறார்கள். கணக்கை தெரிவியுங்கள் என்றால் இன்சூரன்ஸ் தொகை ஐந்து சதவீதம் கூடியுள்ளது என பொத்தாம் பொதுவாக கூறி கார் வைத்திருப்போரை முட்டாள் ஆக்குகின்றனர்.) பல கார் வைத்திருக்கும் நண்பர்களிடம் கேட்டுள்ளேன் டொயோட்டா கார் கம்பெனி இந்த விஷயத்தில் சிறப்பாகவும் சரியாகவும் நடந்து கொள்வதாக தெரிவிக்கின்றனர். கார் டீலர்ஸ் மற்றும் சர்வீஸ் சென்டரில் நடைபெறும் பிரச்சனைகளை, நீங்கள் தோல் உரிக்க வேண்டும். அப்போதுதான் அவர்கள் கஸ்டமரிடம் கனிவு காட்டுவார்கள். சிறப்பான சேவையையும் செய்வார்கள். இல்லையென்றால், பலபேர் காரை வாங்கி காசை இழப்பார்கள். அல்லது!மன உளைச்சலுக்கு ஆளாவார்கள். எனவே தங்களது சேனலில் புதிய கார் எவ்வாறு வாங்குவது? காரை எவ்வாறு பராமரிப்பது? என்பதை தாண்டி, கம்பெனி சர்வீஸ் எவ்வாறு இருக்கிறது என்பதை வெளிச்சத்திற்கு கொண்டு வர வேண்டும். அப்போதுதான் கார் வாங்க வேண்டும் என கனவு காண்பவர்களுக்கு அது நிஜத்தில் திருப்தியை தரும். இல்லையேல் ஏண்டா காரை வாங்கினோம் என நொந்து நூலாகும் நிலைக்கு அவர்கள் தள்ளப்படுவார்கள்.
