I remember it being really easy to lock yourself out of things in U2's campaign because things were accessible at odd times and if you completed the final race without unlocking everything, you're sol. But the tuning and rubberband are the biggest strongsuits to the game.

8:03 ...and that's why one of my Underground 2 save games is soft locked at 99%, because I did the final URL and beat Caleb before the last magazine and after that the magazine was gone, didn't know this at the time but apparently if you don't do the special events before the end of a chapter they'll disappear with no way for you to do them, making it impossible to get 100%

I think that was only meant to be for unique parts as every chapter has their own unique parts and you can't go back if you miss one, but since unique parts and magazine/dvd covers use the same event type some of the progression gets cut off in the process, doesn't make sense to me that they'd purposefully lock away some of the progression so you can't get 100% like that

you can in theory try to buy a disc online, but, due to the age of the game it's also considered "abandonware" so you can pirate it
