NEW Carthago Chic C-Line I 4.9 LE L Superior 2025 : Mercedes A-Class Motorhome
The 2025 Carthago Chic C-Line offers 20 models on Fiat and Mercedes ands this is the Mercedes based I 4.9 LE L Superior. Offering 4-5 berths, this integrated luxury motorhome is 7.89 metres long and has a GVW of 4200kg or 4500kg.
It has the 2.0 litre diesel engine and 150hp or optional 170hp. The C-Line comes with white paint as standard or you can opt for the silverline paintwork.
On board you will enjoy a 170 litre fresh water tank and 140 litre grey waste tank.
This motorhome is heated with Truma air blown heating or you can select the optional Alde wet system.
At the rear there are two longitudinal beds, which can be made in to a large double bed. The length of the beds are 200cm, ideal for taller people.
This model at Camper UK comes with two rear view cameras, Alde, inverter, a coffee machine, media pack, chassis pack, external shower, ivory leather, Corina work stops and a ceramic worktop. This list does go on..
Prices start from £127k, this model reviewed is £169k. Prices correct at time of filming Nov 24.

The exterior and garage interior DOES look expensive and well designed , I especially like the style of wood they have used in the garage and the metal flooring . . The finish inside IS very much like Yacht styling nowadays . More polished and expensive . The windows in the cab MUST make it feel enormous ? I DO like the positioning of the tv , makes sense to have it actually in the area you are going to be able to sit and watch it comfortably . I think its quite nice NOT to have ones controls on sight , nice to cover them. makes it feel more streamlined. The wall units "look " solid and so do the doors. When you were showing us the kitchen , on your right and on the dividing wall, I noticed an aluminium strip , what is that for ? I like the cooker , the hob irons , great design , although I do wonder about safety with the covers being glass, do you have to lift all of them ? if you want to use one ring , could you leave the other glass cover down ? That kitchen is very well designed imo. I DO prefer drawers over doors. for storage especially low down . I LOVED it when you pulled out the slide out pantry , that is very clever . I think the last time you showed how to open the wine glass cupboard , wasnt it a special switch or lock it had ? made me laugh when you said you can stand on the intrusion in the shower to wash yoru legs , made me laugh out loud that did . How WOULD you raise the mattresses ? are they electric controlled so they rise at the press of a button or manual ? I LOVE that pull out tv , so nifty . OH DEAR you made me laugh again Karina when you said "you dont want to be bashing your wood " I BET Jules smirked at you for that comment . Tbh, I dont understand why it should be so difficult to fit in some sort of rod ( or bungee cord ) into a bathroom unit , why leave it out when its a basic motorhome? its not that expensive to fit surely ? I DO love the interior of thisbathroom though , very polished . What a great thought though , a towel holder right where you want it to be . makes sense . Was that a radiator underneath the washbasin ? it looked mirrored , but I wasnt certain . That was something good that you pointed out , nowhere to dry your wet towels , a good point , that shows how detailed you are at the reviews.

Yes, on the s-plus there was a locking button mechanism. The wood bashing comment just came out 😬😂 I’m not sure on this model in the beds are just on a lift up ratchet system, most motorhomes have that function. 😊😊👍

A nice vehicle, I would ask about a fly screen for the habitation door. The table looks nice but not very adjustable, some tables you get can move about a fair bit so you can slide it over a bit. Decent finish as would be expected. My only complaint is no provision for combination microwave oven which is a shame. I’m sure it will suit the needs of quite a few people.

Thank you for watching, much of that comes down to the added cost to manufacturer slide outs, the additional weight due to our more limited payload and the size of the pitches here in the UK. Pitches are often quite small due to limited space on sites so wouldn’t work too well. We have to have 6 metre fire breaks between pitches for safety too. There are a few models that offer a slide out but these tend to be the top end German models such as Morelo. Your question is a good one 😊👍

At more or less 170K this would not be my choice, it has, in my opinion, the same layout as last years model. The kitchen offers very little with almost no preperation area at all, the lounge would sit four comfortably maximum, what every reviewer seems to forget and again in my opinion, is knee room. To top it all the shower is very cramped. There is better for way less money. Thanks for the review we enjoy them all. Take care and stay safe👍

Great video. Saw the previous model on a site last week. Looked impressive until I saw the owner shivering outside using a microwave mounted in the garage as these motorhomes don't appear have one inside. Also, you'd think Alde wet heating and a levelling system would be standard? Just my thoughts....

Thank you for watching, yes, there are very few European manufacturers that fit microwaves to motorhomes, it is very much a UK thing. I miss a microwave when I am away as they are handy for porridge and quickly heating stuff up 😊😂 With my awful cooking this is quite important!
