OMG, after this video I went directly to Holt Renfrew and to test this amazing fragrances. I felt in love with all three!!! I bought two: Allégresse and Insounsiance . To me this smell more earthy and citruses not watery. I’m a person who loves nature , I absolutely love our annually family hikes in British Columbia. This parfumés will travel with me in vacations. I love how Mathilde Lauren didn’t feel the use of musk to blend this beautiful notes. She is a genius! Love this , I can’t stop sniffing myself. The names are beautiful too, English would make to sound more bold . They’re also so unique smell

I tried them today. They are so light. I asked the salesperson whether they are cologne. I was told that they were eau de toilette. So light and delicate. I like the red bottle the most. The yellow one is like one of Chanel's eau. I forget how the green one smells like, so fresh and light.

Cologne/watery fragrances seem to be coming back in to fashion, Hermes, Chanel and now Cartier have released a line... expecting one from Dior next

Thank you for reviewing these! I've only tried the luxuriance (yes the name kind of doesn't match the fragrance..) and I think it's very enjoyable for hot summer days! Very refreshing

I smelled them and liked their freshness. Very aquatic indeed. But I was surprised by how similar they smelled ! to me they're like the same fragrance with different nuances! I don't know where it comes from but to me they all have a really prominent (cucumber and) freshly cut cilantro note, wich I like, but with caution as I have not tried them on skin.

Tried "allégresse" on skin, sprayed it generously ( on my coton t-shirt too) and it barely lasted two hours ...very disappointing, as I had really liked the opening. More cologne than edt to me :( !

Great thorough video Sabastian!! I own all three, with insouciance being my favorite, luxuriance second, and allegresse third!….I also own L’Heure Brilliante IV! Longevity on my skin is the same for all mentioned! 3-5hrs, I Enjoy them all!! Thanks so much!! Appreciate you!!

I saw set for $81 with 3.3oz Insouciance, and 2 0.33oz of the other two. Struggled so hard not to buy it as the deal was great and the bottles are so pretty but the reviews said they smell like vegetables. I currently have Polo Earth, Light Blue Forever, and instinct by Rachel Zoe as my clean scents and Polo Earth already smells like grass to me so after a 3day debate. I didn't purchase

Is this watery like the new MFK cologne forte? I didn't like that watery at all; it was more like diluted and impotent. It strangled the life out of them. However, I think L'Homme A la rose is PINNACLE watery. It's STRONG watery. It's like being slammed in the face with beautiful, jammy, refreshing, dewy mist... a droplet plucked from the surface of a sweet juicy flower pedal.

much as i like watery freshness, i do dislike calone as well - it’s a note that tends to make me queasy & performs badly in hot & humid environments (i live in the tropics). as for the names, i guess if fragrances were launched one by one it wouldn’t be as difficult as having to deal with a whole mouthful of french at once ! incidentally, luxuriance actually sounds like a good match for your description of the scent - it basically means lush & flourishing from a verdant vegetation point of view so i would say its aesthetics are pretty spot on, along with allégresse since yellow is a joyful colour too. just unfortunate that they all contain that marine aqautic note !!

L. Vuitton fragrances are so far the best. The oud ‘Nomad’ fragrance is simply a rose-oud elixir of the gods.

Declaration, which is horrible body odor in a bottle, turned me off this house from the get-go. I will try again with a decant of Pasha but my expectations are low. I think Sebastian has said in the past that calone turns him off and aquatic frags in general are not his thing. He seems to favor the heavier, more Oriental fragrances it seems to me. So you may want to factor that in when deciding whether or not to give these a chance.

I totally agree with you. I mean, complaining about the names of the fragrances because they have French origins? I received samples of all three this evening and I like all of them. That's what prompted me to watch this video. I had to stop the video with 40 seconds left because of his whining.
