I live in central California and shopped Black Friday, no crowds at all. Started at 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, and even went to the Mall. Nice stuffing, keep on making more videos.

I typically don't go out on Black Friday, I am not a big crowd person. This year however we went grocery shopping on Friday, shopped at King Soopers and Costco(neither were busy).

Hi. I love your videos. We homeschooled our two kids all the way through high school. We used the accredited abeka program. It is video based and we had to mail the tests in to be graded and they would send us a report card. It was great for us because we both work full time.

We've spent $500 extra this year. Everything has jumped in price. We bought 1 family gift. I'm going to go to thrift stores and yard sales for next years Christmas. I bought puzzles, kids holiday earrings, holiday pj's for Christmas Eve, fun socks, locket necklaces for 2 kids, toy trucks for the 2 year old, 2 stuffed animals... NOTHING really extravagant.

Hey MS sister. My son is almost 28, so its been a few years,,,But I would shop the clearance racks all year, Wally would have great deals on Lego and Megablock....I remember him showing me a few things in his Lego catalogue.....I realized that there were only 2 large sets. When he went to bed I checked the stash, and sure enough, I had both sets. I paid half price on clearance. I would shop the Halloween markdowns for superhero outfits for dress up....I can't tell you how many spiderman outfits we went through.

I didn't really get much for myself. I only shopped at Target, Thriftbooks (online) and Amazon. At Target, I got an 8-quart slow cooker for $29.99. I also got a stainless steel sauce pan for $24.99 because I am going to practice cooking next year. On Thriftbooks, I bought two books that were about natural medicine and I believe I got a free book too. On Amazon, I bought two Savings Challenges Workbooks and inserts for my 50 Envelope Savings Challenge for 2025. I also spent my entire Christmas budget on my mom, my friend and my old co-worker but I haven't spent for myself yet because I still have some sinking funds left to do. I just bought myself a camera, I am saving for a bicycle and I also have a fund for moving away.

I'm curious why you don't have your bills on automatic payment? Then you never have to worry about forgetting to pay something. Especially for big things like a mortgage.

We used to go crazy with our kids too for Christmas. I am trying to dial it down because they lose interest so fast and the clutter gets to me. I am guilty bc I too have the memories of a tree bursting with gifts and trying to replicate that for my kids but I am realizing that is not a good thing.
@jerryglass6513Күн бұрын
I shopped both...in person and online.

Love it! I saw someone on the news last night talking about every year they take a different one of their kids and just have a one on one shopping day with one kid. I thought that sounded super fun and may actually do that next year! Did you have any good finds? Hope it was a fun shopping day for you! =) ❤❤❤

Hi Jordan I also add a check mark my paid bills but I also have them dated so I don’t panic later. Anyways I thought that might help you to know.

I only pay $15 for my Amazon Prime
@jedijessicКүн бұрын
On the website it's 15 a month.
@joyr4461Күн бұрын
Way don't you get a budget from the electricity company so you pay same fee each monthly.
@JordanBudgetsКүн бұрын
It's a great idea! In Mississippi you had to live at the same address for a year and then they totaled it out to create a consistent amount due each month. I haven't looked in to it here yet, do they typically make you wait a year to see how much electric you use? I've only been here for 3 months.

I pay amazon once a year for $139!
@jedijessicКүн бұрын
That's what I pay. Walmart + has it half price for yearly if one has EBT but with Amazon that option is only available for monthly payment.

Jordan, I pay $139 per year for Amazon Prime. You're overpaying if you pay $15 per month unless it includes something else.
@traciecarlson4706Күн бұрын
This is what I pay too. $139 plus tax once a year.
@renatal1972Күн бұрын
I pay $120 a year for amazon prime, once a year charge, because you paying monthly your not getting the discount, so your paying $180

Can you give me a little bit more information on this curriculum that you have? Does it go all the way through high school and do they offer credited high school diploma? I currently have my 13-year-old son in James Madison High School I pay $150 a month every month for 18 months that’s a total of 1800 for his entire high school curriculum it is ninth grade through 12th. It’s a one time flat fee of $1800 but I put it on the payment plan of $150 a month he’s listed $1000 before it’s paid off. I don’t have to repeat the payment he’s got every single course he needs to graduate for high school ninth through 12th grade. He will get a diploma and it is a credited, I’m looking for something a little bit different for Jessica to meet her educational needs and I was wondering if your program that you’re speaking of since it includes workbooks and not just homework online if it actually goes into the High School program and is a credited if you can, please let me know that would be great because I need to look at a couple of different programs for Jessica.

Is some of your income coming from child support
@JordanBudgetsКүн бұрын
No, unfortunately I don't get any state aid, child support, or any kind of support outside of what I make on etsy on youtube. I wish I did though! ❤
