I actually had an accident today In my car that rendered it completely undrivable and I’m so glad I had access to a tow company/ road side assistance. Now I’m in Australia but I think it’s 100% worth it

I have had AAA for years. The only thing I have used it for is the discount of batteries. Also, I'm in the midwest, so I bump mine up to the Gold level because towing for 5 miles or whatever the base one is, isn't enough. The 100 miles towing, if I were to break down, could get me from major city to major city so I am pretty set if something happens. I also feel safer when traveling with other people because as long as you have your AAA account, even if it isn't your vehicle, you can reap the benefits.

AAA was great when we lived in California. Absolutely worth it! When we moved to Tennessee the two times we needed them they had gotten dispatched to the wrong locations. Do like in a semi rural area so I understand it can take liberty than when we’re live in a big city. However, the first time it took 6 hours. And the second 4. Were ended up cancelling. So I think it just depends where you live. Also, I had just paid my car reg a month before we had moved and I just waited till the year was over to register it to Tennessee. I know we are supposed to right when you move, but nothing happened. LOL.

I have AAA. Was raised on being told not to go without. My son shows animals and we were chasing points and driving every weekend to different shows (we have gone as far as Arizona and we live in Texas) our our diesel truck got bad diesel and we were pulling our trailer which has an AC/heater unit on it so it’s a big trailer and AAA sent a big enough truck to take our diesel truck and our trailer and took us to where we were going, and a mechanic came out to fix it. That is the only time I’ve ever used it, but ever since then I have no problem making that payment.

Also call your car insurance co. Your rate can change depending where you live. Hopefully it'll go down, but they can tell what your new rate will be.

About Car registration and tags- when you register in your new state, you can send your old tags to your old state and they refund you a prorated amount. As for AAA, we have used them and the amount of time it takes them to get to you depends on your area and how busy they are.

I live in Ct. and I never had any problems with AAA. One time it took them awhile because they had a few customers before me. But they did show up.

I live in Missouri, AAA is amazing. They have always been there when I needed them. Car tags policy varies by state. Congratulations and blessing on your move! Love your videos!

I have had AAA since 1978. I have used many times over the years. The longest I have had to wait is three hours. That was for a non emergency tow to a body shop. I retired and moved to North Idaho 5 years ago. Since moving, I have not needed to use it...however, as long as I have a car....I will have AAA.

My auto insurance,( full coverage), includes towing, rental, roadside assistance already, so I don’t see the need to pay twice to add AAA.

My parents have had AAA for a few years and they came within 2 hours. I’ve had it for almost a year and haven’t had to use it. I travel 1 hour 1 way for my dermatologist. I haven’t it so I don’t have to have my dad make that call and sit even longer.

Be glad you haven’t needed AAA! I paid for years then stopped this past summer I had a break down and paid $500 in tow. Then I got it back but this time I paid the premium one with 200 miles and lo and behold my car stalled again. Both times I was a hour half away from home. Paid nothing. Then my battery died. Whatever you do don’t get the basic it gives very little mileage. Get the 100 or 200 mileage. It’s not even that much more. Also, the more rural you are the longer wait you will have for a tow. I’ve had both long waits(2 hours) and short waits.

Hi Jordan, we are a family of 3 our grocery budget is a lot less than yours. In the sense of we get/eat on way below that. I’m curious if you would share what you get for groceries for you and 2 little kids for $800 a month bc that really sounds like a lot… not judging just trying to understand….. ❤ Most states allow 6 months to get new tags. Check your new state laws.❤

I don't know if I have commented this before, but have you checked to see if you could get your thyroid medication at either Costco or Sam's club? Or have you tried to utilize good RX for a discount?

I get it at walmart which is the cheapest I've seen, I don't think I've checked Sam's club though so I'm going to check. Thank you!! I didn't have luck on good rx, there is a discount/coupon but only if you are insured. I'm currently uninsured. =( (BUT - hoping to fix that when I move.) ❤️❤️❤️

Ok I’m going to tell you if someone hasn’t, you are going to have to be far more realistic with your sports budget if your kids want to play. Just community level sports here are at least $150 to play once they hit 8 up here in MN plus equipment. Baseball alone set us about $700. Football was about the same. The following season was about half that with being able to reuse some of that equipment. Basketball was $200 to play and $130 for good shoes. Unfortunately, I wasn’t fully prepared for that and it was a rough wake up from the $60 local req programs.

I think you may have up to 6 months to get your new tag/driver's license before it's considered illegal to live there with another state's tag, but that may vary by state. Once you turn in your Mississippi tags, you should get a refund for the time you haven't used *unless it's very little. At least where I live that is how it is.
