I got the Chai Latte as my first 3776 and this nib is just as good as everyone says it is or better. I got an EF and for such a thin line (mine writes closer to a .2-ish mm) it’s consistent, buttery smooth, and delicious. It’s quickly become my daily writer in my planner and a “forever pen” like you mentioned for me also. I’m definitely looking into acquiring another 3776 soon.

lol! I totally get that! I don’t do hot drinks, but my local coffee shop makes an espresso iced coffee that comes layered in the cup, and you have to stir it with your straw. This pen reminds me of that drink!

I recently got the black Shape of a Heart on Amazon for a very good price - under 200 EUR… and I really love it. It has a fine nib, my first fine on a 3776 - I thought I might not like it, but I actually really enjoy it. :) And I already found one of the hearts… 😂

I really like this pen a lot. I didn't have the funds for it but maybe one day. I plan on trying out the Platinum 3776 along with some other pens at the Chicago pen show this weekend. I always love seeing this ink. Such a beautiful brown.

i too am not a big fan of orange browns.

They're tough because I do think I like warm browns with a little red in them, and you wouldn't think orange would be that different, but it is! I don't like browns that are too green, either. I'm picky about them, lol. Glad I'm not the only one!

I got this one too, but as hard as I try I can not see any of the hearts in it! 😅 It's pretty though, and the 3776 Medium nib is my favorite. 💕

Oh nooo! 🫣 I think they fall down and lay flat up against the bottom of the inside of the finial where they blend in! And yes, this nib is wonderful! I haven’t used a fine Platinum gold nib yet, and I want to, but I’m very happy with this one. It’s the sweet spot!

Oh no! I preordered mine from Endless Pens back in February. Hopefully they will come back in stock. If I were you, I’d sign up for some email notifications from Pen Chalet and Goldspot and anywhere else that does restock notifications!

I got this for my birthday in a fine nib, and it’s my second Shape of Heart (first one was the Ivoire in medium). It’s currently inked with OnInks Leather Patina, v similar to Smoky Quartz. Writes like a dream, as w all of my Platinums. Thanks for sharing! 🤎
