It's a few days late but it's here! I am so excited to share this unboxing and review of the new fall-winter collection from CHANEL 'Noir et Blanc de Chanel'. This collection stood out to me because of the emphasis on black and white, two of the color codes for the fashion house. I love the inspiration behind the collection and the products are stunning! I always shop a season ahead so, for me, this release is timely. I wasn’t that interested in the B&W palette until I saw the result you got. If those colors had been too pigmented I would have looked like Keith Richards. But this look I could wear. So I just might try that palette and topcoat.

In the art world, black is considered the presence of all color and white is the absence of all color. I love the quad that represents that. Also, the eye topper is gorgeous. I would love to see you use the other topper in the future!💜

Thanks for reviewing this collection. I’m surprised by the way that black and white palette turned out to be so wearable. Looks like the pigments are softer looking on the eye than they appear in the pan. That white topcoat really makes the finished look! The other eye palette confuses me though. Looks like it would be too muddy if you used all of the colors, so I’d love to see a tutorial on that one. Great video!💚

It's very confusing to me too lol You really can't use all of the colors. Today I'm wearing the olive green with the pewter top coat and it looks nice, but it's a little more smokey than my typical daytime look. I'm excited to keep playing with it! xx

There are always so many stories and tie-ins, I love it! It makes you feel like every piece is special and cannot be duplicated by another brand. They do a wonderful job keeping Coco Chanel at the forefront of everything they do! xx

I’m loving the forest shades of Noir. The gold topcoat I tried would not stick to my eye, but the white lion shade from last winter is perfect if I don’t want to do a monochrome eye. The black & white quad is too blue-based for my green-eyed, yellow-toned skin coloring. I’m building the monochrome theme on my eyes with the liners & colored mascaras from the Blurry line. Try Eros with that burgundy shade. Or Jungle Green with the deep olive.

I was attracted to the Cruise Collection 2019 eye gel (silver and gold), but they were out of stock within the first week! I got the Ombré Top Coat 317 instead, as I love the frosty shimmering white! And of course, the white packaging, love love it!

Erin, what a cute & witty choice of dress for this video. And it is beautiful, too. I just love this dress. THIS is the star of the collection for me😆😉 I do think the white top coat is something really interesting & an innovative product. I’d love to try that one. Also curious about the nude powder lipstick😉 The burgundy ones also look terrific. I think with this collection released so early, they might come up with something “intermediate” (like may be a mini collection?) between this one & the holidays. Lucia’s been creating stuff right, left & center, that’s for sure 😆 I wish they’d brought back the sculpting stick highlighter, which they were going to do & make it permanent, but now are having some troubles with production or smth & no one’s sure...:-/

Great video. I opened up the Chanel site here in Europe and discovered a new Les 4 Onbres 304 - Mystére et Intensité. This seems to have a nice hue for me and I have it in my basket, and of course, I want the new Ombre Premiére - Carte blanche single to use as the top coat. Did they come out with more colors for the Rouge Allure Ink for Fall? It still is a personal fav as I love how I still have a tint on my lips by the end of the day.

Thank you! I didn't see the inks, there's a few rouge allure liquid powder lipsticks (not my favorite) and rouge allure velvet extreme. I remember Mystere et Intensite, I own that palette! It's a great one :) xx

I have a number of pallets Chanel, etc that have a black shadow and a white shadow. This is actually so common that is what is keeping me from buying this one. I am hoping for a unique different shade of black, silver, etc.

I haven’t used the white eyeliner... I wish I had ordered it but now that I haven’t I’ll probably wait to see it in store. I love white eyeliner in the waterline to make eyes appear larger and I love this formula, so it should be excellent. I’m curious to see it in person :) xx

So a transition color in the cease is not always needed? Helena

Not always, I used my fluffy brush to blend out the crease and as long as the color is soft, I think that's the most important thing. It's tough with a palette like this because I suppose you could do a soft gray transition... but light brown would look funny. Blended is key :) xx
