Well played!!! I don’t know of many times or instances of being able to purchase Chanel at a discounted price. I think you created a beautiful look.I’m not surprised that you think it’s a bit warm because BD (Beige Doré) is the warmer shade. I would think you are BR just looking at you. Having said that I don’t know the shade range offering because I’m in the States and we don’t have it yet. I’m still undecided about it. I love the Les Beige Healthy Glow foundation that dropped a few months ago. I wear mostly Japanese foundations and I am partial to them so I’m not sure if I will purchase it or not but I enjoyed your review. Thank you. I love your dog and your cat!!! 💌

Oh my goodness, Stephanie, thank you for letting me know about the shades!! Haha I had no idea what the BD and BR meant 😩 I just chose what looked like the lightest one in the online photos!! You’re absolutely right that a rose tone would suit me more than a golden tone. Ah well, I think it’s quite a small shade range for this foundation so I’m ok with the shade I have 🤷‍♀️ So glad to know more about their shades, though, and will definitely go for BRs if I’m looking at other Chanel foundations! Great review. This is on my wish list to try. Your tips and techniques are useful. That Westman Atelier brush looks lovely. The shades pretty good on you considering you got the golden undertone. I would be BR12 I think.

Thanks Amanda! It is a very nice foundation and, yes, the WA brush is really excellent. Thank you, yes I think in spite of the golden undertone this shade works pretty well for me. I would be interested to hear how the br12 is on you if you do get the foundation!!

Great review! After having it for a bit would you say it’s worth the full price? I know you applied the points discount but would you pay full price for it? They don’t have it in US yet and I’m not sure when it’s coming but I’ve been patiently waiting. I’m now contemplating purchasing it on the Harrods website however the shipping cost is pricey, about $40. Is it one of your favs or should I pass? I already own the Les Beiges Healthy Glow one so I’m just really torn. Thanks!

Thanks Erin!! I have to say for me personally, it would not be worth the full price - I think it’s a lovely foundation, looks very nice, wears well, good packaging, etc. but not so incredible that the full price is justified in my mind.. it is one that I enjoy wearing and do wear on a regular basis but I don’t find it superior to any of my other favourite foundations ❤️💕 Hope that helps, it’s a tough decision as of course everyone will experience it differently and maybe for some it is truly exceptional... in any case, I don’t think I would rush to buy it but perhaps wait until you can get a sample at some point down the road 🤷‍♀️🥰❤️

That brush is not to buff, it's to work like the traditional cat tongue brush. I m buying this more because of that brush I love it. I have sensitive skin so I don't like brushes to buff because makes my skin red and we put chemicals more deeply in skin
