The time taken in processing whether the officer is ignorant of Tibetan IC or whatever, the officer’s immigration processing is unusually longer than other nationals. If the officer knew you are Tibetan then why did he make a phone call to? This is what we have been talking about. Europe and Canada is very kind and generous for all refugees. India should learn from them and improve things and can be more generous. CTA should communicate with India and request to have smooth process for all travelers.

u said u didn't have any issues but at the immigration for other nationalities, no one makes calls n ask them questions. they just check your passport n stamp thats it. also it depends on how experienced the staff is in dealing with unusual ID. so u got lucky didn't have much hassle as others had.
