Aloha Jena! For makeup compacts/palettes that are hard to open, I like to file the little nub (that keeps the compact closed) with a nail file. There are usually two little nubs, the top part of the compact and the bottom part. I like to file the one at the top because it's less noticeable that it's been filed down. Tape around the area so you don't accidentally file other parts. This has saved me from breaking my nails! ❤

Fab video, I’m so glad you’ve covered this launch, and really early too! I always enjoy your content. From your video, I like this more than I thought I was going to. From the pictures I’d seen I wasn’t sure if I was going to buy this, I think they didn’t really do it justice. This is a pass for me. I actually like the way her previous holiday palettes (Instant Eyeshadow Palettes) are structured, with 4 groups of 3, where each can be their own look. I also really loved the formula in the Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise: Instant Eyeshadow Palette. That had the best formula and wearable shadows.

Very pretty look Jenna! If one uses a fluffy loose brush for the blushes it would likely work very well. Pigmented blushes need loose brushes not dense ones that are better for cream blushes. I think the eyeshadow palette looks very pretty. The blushes are a pass as I prefer liquids and creams.

I would say though, her first brush wasn’t just dense but also pointy, which is really not the best for any blush application. Unless you’re a pro, pointy large brushes are difficult to spread cheek product smoothly. She made it work though and in the end it looked beautiful, but that was also because of switching brushes. Odd bright blush color for the holidays though.

Beautiful palette and your makeup looked so pretty in the end. I would say though, that pointy brush is probably not good in general for cheek products cause it’s too pointy. A fluffier-flatter brush ended up saving the cheeks 😊 Odd bright color choice from the brand for the holidays though. Sometimes I really really don’t understand the color choices some makeup companies make. A bright neon peach for the holidays??! So weird 🤔😁

Thank goddddd u changed ur blush brush lol I was screaming to the screen NOOOOO NOT THIS BRUSH JENNA HAHAHA ! When ur using a very pigmented brush and u want a light application you do not use a round dome brush … you need to use a fluffy loose brush 🙌🏼🙌🏼 so u did well to change the brush 👍🏻🙏🏼 I wish you would’ve used the more colorful unique colors for ur eye look as charlotte attempted to include beautiful colorful shades but such a beautiful look you created ❤❤❤

I think this is pretty and I was gonna buy it but when I saw the swatches idk about the pink and purple shades the rest I love but those 2 shades make me look sick if it was a lighter ballet pearly pink and a blue base purple or a mauve I wouldn't think twice . They make me look sick that bright pink . Idk it doesn't look the same on your swatches as another girl I watch yesterday hers looked bright . I'm skipping the blushes I don't like the pink blush and I don't like the highlight in the other blush.

This is a pass. $75 is a whole lotta money for such a basic look palette. Yes the shimmers are pretty, and of course the packaging is fancy. But for that price point, the colors and formula need to be out of this world or it needs to be a bigger palette, like a 12 to 15 pan palette. And I don't need anymore blush.

Thanks for your review. I don't like any of the collection, so overpriced and boring to me, shimmers are not as good as Natasha Denona or Pat... The cheek palettes colours look exactly the same as the face palette she released earlier with blush and highlights.... I would have much preferred one of the larger eyeshadow palettes and new xmas shades in the kissing lipstick, oh well.

I don't know how to feel about this. It looks extremely tacky to me, especially the packaging. It doesn't look tasteful. Looking at that palette, it's the first time I look at something from Charlotte Tilbury and think that it's ugly. 😢😢 the swatches you did look really nice, however it's not exactly my color story (and I swear I use almost exclusively CT makeup and one of the reasons for that IS that I always love her color stories)

I ordered these blush palettes in a heartbeat. Now the colors turn out a lot different to what they put online. I don't like a coral pink and they made it look much lighter and with different undertone. The dark palette too: there is def a rosy undertone in the promo pictures and i am tired of their wrong advertisement
