I am really impressed with this product. I am 63 and with an oily Tzone. I also have some age related pigmentation which I have to cover on my cheekbones. I do prefer a lighter coverage and loved CT Magic Foundation (please bring it back 🙏🏻) I use Laura Mercier blurring primer on TZone and apply with a dense Doll 10 foundation brush all over face paying particular attention to relevant areas. I allow it to dry down, and this is a quick process, whilst I do my eyes and then touch up dark circles with concealer and redo where necessary. I then very lightly powder as I don’t want to glow as such at 63 😅 It’s just beautiful and I find it lasts the day. Large pores are no longer a thing and all areas I want to cover are covered. Skin is radiant rather than glowy. I have had so many compliments on how it looks. Thumbs up from me 👍🏻 I use shade 2 Fair

I saw Charlotte Tilbury a few days ago on "Lorraine". She applied the stick on two models. One lady looked as if her face had been dipped in oil. So it's a no for me. My skin is fairly dry, I like natural makeup, so I don't like powdering after applying foundation. With this CT foundation, I would definitely need to powder.

I’m not into glowy foundations as I have natural glowy skin being oily, but I do love a bronzy glow so I got shade 13 which is nice on my light medium skin tone

I was shade matched at Sephora. I was skittish about it at first but it looks really good! I let it set for a few minutes, then powdered. Great quick look for no makeup days. I don’t feel like it is Flawless Filter in stick form - which I’m not a fan of. Different formulation and finish. Tendency to be oily in T-zone. I put it on under Airbrush Flawless Foundation as well as my Fenty Matte. I also use a pore minimizing sunscreen. Have had no problems with transfer or shininess. I’m happy!

Hi again Gemma, I wonder if you can help me out. I have been wanting to try "Luminous Silk" for ages and was just wondering what shade you are in it? I am usually the same shade as you or 1 shade up depending on the brand. We are the same in Charlotte Tilbury. I do not fake tan or anything (love my SPF 😄) so it would just be your normal shade. I bought a foundation stick from primark cost £5 or thereabouts! Lovely coverage slightly glowy blends like a dream & it give a lovely not to heavy coverage can’t say it lasts for hours n hours but £5 who cares ! Charlotte tilbury is an utter rip off ! You pay for the fancy package mostly! Ok darling! Thanks Gemma you always look lovely anyway 🤩😘

I put this on this morning (after receiving it yesterday) and it's still going strong 😔. I used the airbrush pressed powder on my nose (my oily area) and Charlotte Tilbury setting spray before and after.... don't know if that helped, but I will keep trying and testing. My other half hasn't said anything, so it must still be looking ok....he usually only comments on my makeup 💄 if it's looking dodgy 😂.

It really comes off as a Hollywood Flawless Filter in stick form. I have a theory…because some people used the HFF as a glowy base I think CT thought to put it in a stick and call it foundation. I am honestly surprised you liked it as much as you do, I 1000% thought you were going to hate it and not hold back lol. That’s why I trust your opinion 💖

Don’t get me wrong, I was surprised it was as flattering as it was on first application, but it didn’t last. A foundation that lasts 4 hours and cost a pretty penny is not for me! I’m not into glow, so I knew I wouldn’t like it anyway, but I did think it looked quite nice when it first went on, and only when it first went on. 😃

I definitely think it’s similar, but there are differences. I actually think the stick is shinier than FF, but the stick is lighter in weight and easier to apply and blend. X

It only works on bafe skin. I own eleventytrillion sumscreens and primers. It pills or turns to grease with all of them. Given its a summery kimd of foundation its mad it only works without using spf.

These days there as so many foundation products that apply Perfectly immediately. If I’m paying £35 I don’t want to have to mess around to make it work….I’m also over the Tilbury IN YOUR FACE marketing tbh…

I have dry skin and this was horrible on me . Since it's expensive i only use it as a highlighter rather than chuck it.

Same. I thought that it would keep me looking dewy but my skin just absorbed it even primed & set and all that remained was glitter particles. 😢
