I have this palette and absolutely love the formula. For me, I had no issues with pigment. It layers beautifully and gave me a beautiful look without having to keep going in so perhaps it depends on the brush being used. I used my Sonia G brushes and so that may be a factor in the way it applies and whether or not you have to keep going in for more depth. I had no issues and was super pleased with the formula. I loved your review as always and the look you created was beautiful!

I bought it and I like it. It's almost like a mini everyday that you can keep in your purse. The colors are kind of sheer as you said but I don't mind that cuz that's kind of the look that I've been into lately. I do have the Wayne Goss and the Mario but I'm a Charlotte fan and I just think it's cute and it has everything in it for a travel palette

Lol. I have been wearing the La Mer Soft Fluid foundation a lot recently. I'm obsessed with the Chanel foundation, but it doesn't look as good as this La Mer does in camera (because it's so skin like) i never understood the hype behind the La Mer foundation, until I bought the RIGHT shade and DANG.. Thank you Tara for this great review! I keep seeing the shine on the colors but it said it was a matte palette so I was confused. So glad you explained it! I have The Icon palette which is like a creamy formula but different and love that palette. I think I will be picking this one up because I love this type of look and will get a lot of use out of it. Also, I am so glad she is doing something different! I am hoping for an Iconic Nude line, similar to what she did with Pillowtalk. If she does that, I will be in HEAVEN! Hope you are well!

I do A LOT of wedding makeup, therefore a lot of my more colorful, bold palettes I use on myself aren’t what I use on my wedding clients...I just so happened to do makeup for a wedding a couple weeks ago where the bridesmaids were wearing maroon and dusty rose, I used my bigger pillow talk palette for those pinks and they blended so BEAUTIFULLY! I’m on a hunt for a high end neutral palette to use on my wedding girls that have a good mix of cool and warm tones... I’m wondering if this is a good palette for that purpose?

@AngelaArman I have both palettes. You can’t go wrong with both. It just depends what you’re looking for. With Wayne’s palette, I have to admit it was one of those palettes that I needed to get to know (I’m used to more pigmented formula). But once I got to learn it it was a breeze to use. There’s a nice selection of cool and warm browns and his palette offers a lot of product plus a celestial shade compared to the CT Easy Eye Matte. I’m also medium-olive and find that I can double down and use his palette as an all in one face palette-there’s a terra-cotta shade I can use for blush and the white satin shade I’ve used as a highlight. I’ve also gotten away with using the brown shade as contour. It’s perfect if you’re a minimalist. The CT palette, it’s more a bronze + cool tone color story. I find I like the blend better (because I’m so used to ND formula and Tara is spot on when she says that it’s like the Metropolis formula). In general it never takes me more than 2 mins to build a look with a CT palette. So if time is more your concern, I’d lean towards CT. I will say if you have the ND Metropolis Palette and the glam palette, you don’t need these because you can dupe the vibe on both of these palettes. Both formulas melt into the skin well as the day progresses and still look beautiful after a long day. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the review. I was really keen on this when i first saw it on her site as i love my Charlotte Darling palette. Then i really looked at the colour story and went digging through my stash and realised that i can repeat the colour story over and over again. Yes, its in a nice new formula and a lovely compact package, but, i also like what i already own and need to use what i already own. Great video! Update: I got this palette after watching your video. The soft color payoff was something I enjoyed and I didn’t mind having to build it to intensity. A great one and done on the day co,ors. I didn’t have issues with kick up and I loved the creamy texture. Your eye look was fantastic and totally inspired me to make this purchase. So happy with it! As someone with an olive tone and Wayne Goss, the palettes don’t show up the same on the eye. Also Wayne’s shimmers are a totally different experience. Got both, love both! 😊

I just got my palette yesterday and I thought I got a dud because as soon as I dipped my brush in the pans, the day enhance, day smoke and night smoke, looked so weird like oily/hard pan? I had to watch your video again just to make sure it wasn’t just mine. I think it’s a nice companion palette to the Nordstrom anniversary 6 pan or 6 pan darling palette. I’m still on the fence about returning it.

Sweet & simple review💕💗💕💗This faintly reminds me of the NARS Skin Deep palette (I use it sparingly bc I adore it so much). I like this palette, it's basic colors & compliments other palettes well enough. Nice travel size. If you don't have this texture or color story, makes sense to buy. Thanks Tara! I bought this and have to play around with it a little bit more, but offhand I’d say that I prefer the formula in Desert Haze, which is incredibly smooth, pigmented and long lasting. This new palette didn’t seem to perform as well - definitely didn’t seem as pigmented. In general I find the quality of her products to be outstanding, however, so hopefully this new powder/cream will live up to expectations as I continue to use it. How does it compare to the Charlotte Darling palette?

Because I've got the Wayne Goss palette, I wasn't going to get this. However, had she made a palette with different shades, I would have been all over it in a flash. The formula really interests me. Based on those 2 options, I would decide based on if you like a creamy matte or a regular matte. And also if you use black or not. The Easy Nude black is pretty amazing, but if you're not into using blacks, then I think the Desert Haze Palette would be great. But, I'm impressed with the creamy formula and I don't particularly like creamy mattes.. Hope that helps🙏💋

I was upset with this palette because I like the color story, but I don’t care for Satin finish shades. I would prefer a shimmer over a satin finish. I like my Charlotte Darling palette. I thought that this palette was going to be like that palette, but with cooler tones. I’m so sad. 😢

I also at first from just an Instagram picture that this was all satin and thought it had some interesting shimmer tones. Hopefully CT brings out a neutral or cool tone shimmer palette soon as she tends to stick to the same warm tones.

Your eyes pop beautifully with this palette. I am however getting very bored with every CT palette beginning to look the same. I want innovation from new palettes. CT, WG and Mario are all about the same. I recently purchased the ND Glam palette as I felt it offered something different and I love it.

I wear contacts, but they are clear. I have such a strong colored eyes, if I wear them with even a slight tint. I look RIDICULOUS 🤪 When I wear these types of orange, warm tones it brings out my eyes sooooo much. Thanks for watching my friend 💋💞❤
