A German guy here: You kind of got it right. You said „Strassen“ right but „Version“ Not. It’s like Ver-sion and you emphasize the S.

You can't take English out of a native speaker. "Version" is a word in English, so his brain goes to what he knows. We're lucky he didn't pronounce "strassen" as "s-trace-in" or whatever. I'm not a German, but I can at least pronounce "shaufensterpuppen" without having a brain freeze. English just has completely different pronunciation rules. For a good example that I recently came upon, the word "daughter" is pronounced (almost) exactly the same as "toode" in Estonian.

I’m surprised that IT was given the chance to model a 993 911 GT1 road car and actually put it into a game. As far as what’s known, there’s only two 993 GT1 Strassenversions ever made, the two pre-production cars that were built in 95’ and 96’ that came before the more well known (996) 911 GT1s in 1997. Glad to see this car resurface in a game since PGR2 in 2003.
