When I started out getting more professional about DIY detailing my cars, Chemical Guys helped me to get started. They even gave me some bottles of free stuff. But I agree, very confusing about all their products. I still have some "Mr. Pink" and glaze left. The guy (Greg) who I took two classes from now works for Masterson's Car Care in Anaheim, CA.

Honestly if you think about it, if it's formulated and rebranded citrus wash and gloss, it has stripping agents in it. Also, the polymers in the soap could be clogging whatever protection is on the car like waterless washes do if they aren't sio2 or rgo based.

If the water surface tension is not being broken after you rinse it, that means the soap is stripping, whatever sort of hydrophobic coating is on the paint. And it is not leaving its own hydrophobic coating. I’m not sure, you noticed this effect, how you can recommend that it will not strip waxes to any degree.
