New Chemotherapy and Second Opinions

After being told I had 6 to 12 years, I decided to get a second opinion.

I have stage 4 colon cancer-diagnosed just a couple months after you were. I’m also a teacher. Remission after surgery and Folfox, but now has spread to omentum and it’s back in the liver. I was told less than a year. Started Folfiri. Went for second opinion at large reputable hospital to try for surgery-given a No. Third opinion at a smaller facility finally worked and I’m set for surgery next month. Don’t ever give up! Keep researching and trying different doctors/facilities.

You are an inspiration. MD Anderson is the way to go. I have a cousin with lung cancer that was given a diagnosis of 3 to 6 months to live. He switched to MSK and they offered him a trial for immunotherapy and 1 year later he is doing great with continually shrinking tumors.

Going to MD Anderson is an excellent idea. They have access to drugs and procedures that your doctors dont have. Go for it right away. MD ANDERSON is in Houston. They exist for people like you. God bless and keep us informed.

You are amazing. Very uplifting. God knows what you’re going through he knew it before you did. He’s in control. We have no control over these things. Thank the Lord that we have him to lean on. And know that he knew all of this. My husband has leukemia. And God knew of this. I’m leaning on him for strength. If we must walk through this he will give us the strength to get through it. You’re so strong, positive and encouraging to others going through cancer. My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. It’s inoperable. I quote you often to strengthen him. I had a friend on here a year ago when she just started her channel and was only able to do less than 5 videos and out of nowhere she declined very rapidly and died 2 weeks after I received her last message. Don't give up! There are new medicines and therapies coming out all the time. Some work and some don't, move on to the next. The pandemic has really made it difficult for us cancer petients seeing the doctor alone!

I don't have cancer but it may be worth it to look into therapeutic fasting and or combining fasting with chemo.

I am so sorry you received that news. Do you know which dna mutations you've got? I belong to 2 colon cancer stage 4 fb groups and ALOT of people are showing good results with immunotherapy with msi, kras, and kras wild types. Don't stop fighting !!!

Not sure if you've looked into Chris Best Cancer and Dr. Fuhrman Eat for Life. You can kill cancer with different foods. Never give up its all about mind, body, and spirit! Praying for you🙏
