I'm praying for you during this season. I can't imagine how you're feeling this first Christmas without your mom. Mine is 85, and I thank God every day for her. I lost my husband in 2016 after 41 years together, so I still have those feelings, especially during the holidays. Loved how you decorated your home. Blessings

I know there is a heaviness in your heart and feeling the loss that much more as each first holiday, celebration, birthday, Christmas comes and goes. I know your Mom will be there in spirit. The memories shared will never leave you. I hope that the holidays bring you peace! 🙏🏼 Love the simplicity of your Christmas decor. I'm finding this year less is more. I have some gorgeous velvet and glass ornaments that i will use but what really makes the tree are the white lights. Having the tree on especially in the evening when it's dark brings me joy and adds some peace and tranquility to my home. TFS part 1 with so much inspo. Btw I am on the hunt again this year for that gorgeous large galvanized ornament candle 🎄🤍🕯✨️

Candis I know how you feel. We lost my dad in April and it’s so hard to go on without our loved ones. This will be our first Christmas without him and I just continue to pray to God for all of the hurt to go away day by day. Hold on to all of your memories because you will have those forever.
