Great breakdown of all these shades and swatches! Thank you. I have the CDP in the 201 shade. It was a bit intimidating at first because I didn't realize there was over spray, once that was gone the true luminescent quality is so good!

I have one from many years ago, still looks beautiful and applies great. When you buy high quality powder products and you keep them cool, dry and relatively dark space, such as a drawer, I never worry bout expiry dates, only with creme products. Thank you for reviewing high end coz at my age, I blinkin' deserve high end but that's where I have to spend my pennies wisely and your videos are a literal god send 🙏😊

Hey Jennifer…I just wanted to tell u what an excellent job u did on this video. I have always been so confused over these luminizers. I thought that even though they had the different colors, that they were so much alike that it would be pointless to buy more than one. U swatching your face and really showing the different colors, really wowed me. If I would have known, I think I would have picked up the newest release this past holiday. Thank u for educating me on this product and of course, since I’m a makeup lover, the video was very entertaining and a lot of fun. Thank u!

Hi Jen, Cardinals Migrate and if you think about it ...Holiday Cards often around Christmas have Cardinals. Pretty Birds in cold and snow etc. Plus what they say about Cardinals, symbolic of Family and loved ones in heaven ❤.

I was going to get the purple single and maybe another one they are supposed to be like the primer shade but I heard they wont be coming to the U.S or atleast not this year . So i just went and bought the purple quad it is supose to be here tomorrow. This video is perfect cause i was trying to pick out a lumenizer but didnt know which one to get , I know I want the less sparkly version .

I currently have five of the luminizers and select the one that will look the best with the particular makeup look I’m going for. Their colors are very definitely subtle, but there, if you know what I mean. For example, I wouldn’t pair Radiant Aurora (#11 from the winter holiday collection) which is a very pale icy blue with a peach blush because it would look a bit off and odd. I also frequently use the luminizers as browbone highlighters and pick the one that goes best with the eyeshadow color story I’m planning on wearing. As for the new lipstick, it’s stupid expensive but incredibly beautiful. Does anyone need a $110 lipstick? Of course not! But I yielded to the siren’s call and bought the Charming Pink Sapphire and Tender Red Emerald. I think the Tender Red Emerald would look gorgeous on you. Both shades have so much depth of color. Supposedly, there will eventually be refills. I hope so because that will bring the price down.

I also picked up the 11 Radiant Aurora shade over holidays and love it. I was very curious about this Valentine’s release in shade 17 Celestial Sparks since I don’t have that shade but I’m wondering if it’s too similar to shades 11 Radiant Aurora and 21 (Daybreak Shimmer) to justify picking up. I’m so tempted though.

@@stacibee224 My Daybreak Shimmer #21 is like a warmer version of Radiant Aurora #11. DS #11 has warm pastel shades of beige, blue, and pink so it doesn’t have same icy look that you get from RA #11. Whereas DS #21 is my everyday go-to color, RA #11 is for when I’m going for a wintertime cool look. As for the repromoted shade in that delightful Valentine compact, I’m giving it a miss because I don’t need a green tinge to my powder. My skin is very fair with soft peach undertones (not pink like Jen’s) so I don’t have any ruddiness that needs to be toned down. I know many people don’t really see the differences, but I do.

@@eileen5428 Thank you SO much!! That is so helpful! I have light skin with pink undertones so I tend to go more for blue tones than greens. Trying to be more selective and smarter in my purchasing and while I love the limited edition packaging I’m just not sure I’d like the undertones of #17 compared to what I already have.

Nice comparisons. I have a couple of Cle de Peau highlighters, both of which start with 2 and are 3 digits. I think they introduced these LE colors with the new gold packaging. I love them. They are so subtle! Melt right into the skin. Love your lipstick and I really love the eye look. What palette is it? Speaking of eyes, in a pinch I've used these highlighters as a lid color. And must admit, it looks terrific. Thanks for the video.💚

I have one for probably 15 years to be honest 🤭 and haven’t used it up yet, I can’t remember the number but it looks kind of like the first one you put on. You’re so correct, they last forever and don’t go bad. I also bought the “mermaid” one past holiday season because I couldn’t pass on that packaging. It was so interesting to watch them all Jen. Thank you for the comparisons. I’ve been interested in trying one of these. The eyeshadow is stunning and would really like to see a tutorial and a comparison, if possible. I know it is difficult and agree these colors and formulas are just not the same. Having green eyes, purples are my go-to colors but it has to be the right tone and it is near impossible to find nowadays.

Thank you for this! I'am eyeing this face luminizers for a long time. Since I have a lot of makeup (a lot!) and I would like to use some of it up before buying anything more - I'm deciding to wait for them to have some compact packaging/case that I like and I will then buy them. The mermaids and this Valentines day collection is not my style and astetic... :)

Great video, I’m a big fan of these powders, I have too many 🙈 it is great to see your collection swatched out against each other , very helpful 👌🏽 I find the older formula easier to buff all over the face. But the newer ones I find I have to be careful ! I would have loved to have the new packaging but I already have the 17 shade, looks like I may have to console myself with a cushion 🤞🏽
