People forget just how good these tier 2-3 teams are these days. Anybody who follows the scene actively is not surprised at all by this result, same with Sashi's win over EF. Eternal Fire were literally hard stuck in tier 2-3 just a few months ago themselves.

The VPs wanted replacements, especially mir, because they wanted to win and be more competitive. The management of VP came up with the idea of buying electronic. Therefore, they came to Cloud9 to buy out the electronic's contract with Cloud9. electronic and management quickly agreed that he would move to the VP for a large money(or huge). VP chose electronic because he had 80-85% of his positions and roles similar to mir. And electronic would be stronger than mir in all settings(idk how to say this, sorry i'm not from English speaking country). That's all what should you know

Liquid need way more time for synergy to build up, the chemistry is all over the place , no idea on ence and c9 have been operating without a proper awp player even since shiro left so makes sense on why performance is poor on their side and they lost electronic recently who is still an insane rifler

everybody knows the quote"If you fail, try and try again." I would like to thank C9 not for 1 but 2 different experiments which required burning millions of usd, (1. putting a top 5 rifler as igl 2. Not having a top tier or even any real awp player). Only the true innovators know the worth of trying to redfince cs, and they have tried (and miserably failed).
