Did a bit of testing in ninja paragon and found out that pop matters the most if you got no pops in the ninjas its max will be 30 lvl only so pops is super important

It only takes away alchemist and ability based buffs. Buffs that are always there such as village buffs don't heal it

Did a bit of testing. Here are my findings. Active buffs, the buffs that come from attacks and abilities, buffs that don't last forever, are target for buff leech. Passive buffs, buffs that are there regardless of circumstances, always there once the upgrade is obtained, and buffs that come from monkey knowledge, are exempt. Monkey village for instance, will not trigger buff leech, but Call to arms probably will. Hope this helps. Edit: I seem to have jumped the gun here. Also note, towers that can debuff the bloons, particularly increasing damage from all sources, are king.
