Reversal energy provides EVERY type of energy.

Reversal pr9vides 3 of every type of energy, and the attack does a base of 40 damage plus 80 for every energy on the card. So, when he's behind on prizes, the reversal is 3 of any color, so 80x3=240+40 for the base attack is 280

What was the consideration for maxim belt over upper neo energy? I know belt allows for charizard knockouts with reversal energy but I feel upper neo energy allows for 200 to 280 damage without being behind in prizes and it actually allows for 360 damage with reversal energy. Is it just a ladder consideration because you face charizard so much?

Seconding the other comment. Without better search, splashing a stage 2 isn't very viable. Unfortunately, if a stage 2 you play as an attacker isn't good enough to be a primary attacker, it's probably best avoided. Wish there were better single prize decks right now.

Between Magma Basin and Mela don't you already have a good 🔥engine? Also, you have access to Neo Upper Energy and Fire Off Armarouge too! Finally, because of the 4 Energy retreat cost, you even have access to Heavy Baton to keep the Energy between knockouts! I feel like the Reversal Energy is cool, but unreliable after a KO. There are more ways to build this.

The Magma Basin wouldn't allow to accelerate to a fighting Pokémon unfortunately. You could get around that with Armarouge as you say, but that would possibly hurt your draw engine as you have to include an extra stage 1 line.

It is a fire and a fighting plus 2 additional whatever energy you want it to be. So technically it counts as 4 energy for the attack. 1 fighting 3 fire. That first energy is a fire and a fighting at the same time so counts towards the fire while also satisfying the fighting attack cost

I feel the logic is it provides every type of energy 3 times. So it's fire and fighting at the same time (as well as grass, lighting, dark etc.). So only 3 energy, just 3 omni-energy that exist as every type simultaneously for any check that validates energy type.

First, you check if the cost of the attack is satisfied as you declare the attack, so you check if there is 1 fighting, then as that is satisfied you go to the next step and you run the calc for the effect of the attack, 40 + 80 for each fire energy attached, there's 3 fire energy attached (at this moment the cost of the attack is satisfied, so ignore the fighting energy requirement as we're no longer at that step), so 40 + (3x80) = 280. If you think about it in the multi-step approach that it is it's less confusing.
