I think it's more to do with piling on the storage for console users, i can't uninstall any of the mw2 content and play mw3 (clearly a dlc). If the next cod is on this 'HQ' i wont be getting it, just to not be able to uninstall the rest of the bullshit, it's ridiculous

I have no interest in MW3, but the fact that I have to open MW3 for MW2 just to play a mode and it takes 4 restarts is insane, idk man it's not even insane, if there's any word for saying something beyond worst. "Update requires restart" and it restarts MW3, then I have to launch MW2's mode, then it restarts again, "update requires restart" then it restarts again, then I decide to play other mode, it has to restart again. I really hope activision falls bankrupt or something. This is way too bad to be pushing stuff like this. It's like making people desperate so they cannot complain about anything.

The CoD FU is perfectly crafted to tell us: "Yo loooser buy the new game, really wanna play that last year crap? You are not cool anymore.. scroll 3 times, load 4 menus and you can play that shit, but if you wanna play now, just get the new one!!" Since CoD ColdWar appeared, the marketing strategy for Blizzard was "Hey you can upgrade your game, buy the new one" Always, is frustrating and infuriating. Thankfully MW2019 is back to it's original laucher, so no crap HQ, hopefully in a few months MW2 will be back again to its launcher without CoD FU bullshit

These guys are crazy. First of all, the COD titles are confusing, then this HQ shit. I've been looking for the MW II that I paid for. Whenever I click on COD in my Steam, it takes me straight to MW III. I searched all my Steam folders, which show the game (MW II) is in my library. Eventually discovered that the MW II was below the MW III in the "HQ". I don't ask for this stupid HQ.

It's immediately an indication when we launch the app, it plays the MWIII theme or the current season theme and it shows the MWIII logo on the right bottom corner of the screen when it's booting up. Another easy indication is like when I play DMZ and when I close out of it and it's going back to COD HQ, it says it's launching Modern Warfare III. All this time during MWIII's lifecycle, THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT A LAUNCHER IS AND HOW IT WORKS! We'll be HAPPY when the true launcher comes next Wednesday. Hopefully we'll SEAMLESSLY and QUICKLY get into WMII and MWIII without restarting and wait for them to boot

1:10 you can immediately launch into mw3 multiplayer and warzone, but for zombies it takes a bit of time (DEFINITELY shorter than launching mw2. Est. 3-9 secs)

Is anyone else having a glitch for mw3 where it says you need to purchase mw3 sometimes. It keeps happening to me and when it finally let's me into the game I'll be in the game mode screen and it will crash as soon i queue into a match or after a minute or 2 even if I havent started a match. I tried clearing my reserved space and saved data and installing and reinstal. Another problem I'm having is it won't update the playlist or it will say I need to be signed into play OR it'll make choose my brightness and accepts terms and conditions and then crash after I do it. All iw ant to do is play the damn game but it's constantly doing this and I haven't found any help and where for Xbox only playstation

Basically you launch MW3 no matter what. When MW3 was a beta you launched MW2 and then found Mw3 and launched it. Now it's reversed because MW3 is the main game. next cod won't have this issue because it's not a dlc to mw2. COD FU file was called mw3 and discord still says "stream Modern Warfare 3" when in the "COD FU". I would bet money that activision comes out and says "We didn't like the COD HQ so we will be releasing standalones" or something similar. Because modern warfare 3 was developed in mw2. 90% of the cod consumerism is just people who don't understand or choose to ignore it because they don't know it's possible to be respected as a consumer instead of spit on.

Dude, it's terrible. I dont own MW3. But that's what it loads every time. It has... shader compilation. When I launch it, it has to relaunch to update. Then, it closes to open MW2. Then wait for shader compilation... again. Its a freaking mess dude. Takes 15 minutes and multiple exe launches to GET TO THE GAME. God forbid if you want to play single player, another close and reopen. Its atrocious
