I meet Lynn at the Great Western Gun Show back in the 70s and bought a lot of his stuff back then. I also met John N Cooper when he was in Burbank and bought the Cooper Bowie for 72 dollars.In 2002 I was able to pick up the Arkansas Toothpick for 600 dollars on EBay. I’ve been collecting knives my whole life, being 74 years old and the last living Male of my cousins and Uncle’s and Aunts inherited many things, but I truly Miss all of them.

GSM killed cold steel, not gonna happen. Spyderco has some great steels and good designs. Try some k390, cruwear/CTS PD 1, CPM-15v

Absolutely getting a black sable. It was the first knife I ever fell in love with and it took me forever to find one of the originals. I do wish they had made it a tri-ad lock though.

Recon 1 XL in tanto baby, that's the way to go :) love the Frenzy too, looks damn' good. This guy though looks like he was taken from the HR department of GSM and asked to do a presentation or he'll lose his job. He's not a knife guy, makes me feel sorry about him lol. Can't wait to see the prices in the EU for these new knives.

I have an original Frenzy. Great blade for those who like a Wharncliffe style - very nimble and very slicey (although I did need to narrow the edge a couple of degrees). Although designed for self defence, carries well in the pocket and can do most day-to-day utility work. Take care.

Nice collection, i see that some ppl in Cold Steel do the best they can! At first i wanted to skip this video, and be critikal, but i love what i see, for real! That Recon 1 is best of the best, so as small Frenzi!! I do not know the price of them, but i would love all of them!!! Just put them in the bed with me and have a safe sleep for 200%!!! Cold Steel needs to call up the DBK boys and do some sort of collaboration. Boker just dropped a bushcraft knife they designed. It would be pretty epic if Cold Steel did something like a premium version of the Finn Wolf that had design elements from wild minds of the DBK boys.

Ultra Lock was way different from Axis/crossbar lock, just operated the same. I have 2 Recon1s with the Ultra Lock - Tanto & drop point.
