I do appreciate cool tones BUT I have to say my favorite collection of all time was the OG Hocus Pocus collection. That one was just so special and just amazing imo. So glad I have a back up of that palette. I use it all the time especially in fall ❤ Thanks Amanda 😊

I especially appreciate the Tarte Maneater Nightfall comparison--that's been on my radar too and seeing the dupes and hearing the reminder that the Tarte quality's better is helping soothe my FOMO for not having ordered the Colourpop palette (plus I already know the Nightfall palette's at Ulta and I can use mah points!). Although I suppose the popularity of the collection may induce Colourpop to also sell it at Ulta at some point...?

Is it unique? No. But I like the color story. I'm also someone who spent my early life going to Disneyland many times and the Haunted Mansion was one of my favorites! So, bought the palette and super shock bundle. Can't wait to play!

I too wish this palette had been more spooky and really carried the theme of the palette into the colors. I can imagine there would be a neon yellow-green and other spooky colors. I would love to see your take on this palette.

I built a dupe palette from the Aurora Struck and Stone Cold Fox palettes to convince myself that I didn't need this palette. Pretty much a spot on dupe from what I can tell not having this palette right next to me in person.

It's a cool collection but I wanted to see the vibrancy like the shades in the Haunted palette and the Basic Witch. It's that time of the season to go all out with spooky purples, greens, reds, moody icy blues. I still love this collection though, the super shocks would be my choice. I agree with your assessment about what they could have done, but it does look cool. I also think they really missed the mark not having a hunter green or dark green as a nod to the ride, and like in the packaging the orange or orange shifting shade would have been cool.

I haven’t seen the newer movie, but I have seen the older movie and ridden the ride plenty of times. I think the cool toned vibe is correct, but I agree that they could have pushed the envelope more with colorful mattes.

I just chucked a few older super shocks. Trying to not buy things that dry out before i have a chance to use them. I know i can revive them, but it's not worth my time to fiddle with them. Hopefully they restock the palette eventually as they have done in the past with popular ones. I don't really need it, it would be more of a buy for the nostalgia aspect. I have the nightmare before Christmas one and the second hocus pocus one and i don't use them. I could also just get the cute wall paper print pants they had at torrid and have something I'll actually use.

Glad i picked this up was the only palette recently that looked interesting-very happy they have dark colors but not everything is dark (like the new abh one). I only caught a few videos before this launched. Also picked up one of SS shadows & lip gloss. They did a really good mix of light & dark but I'm not a huge haunted mansion fan so colors didn't matter so much to me.

I believe there was a glitch at the beginning of the launch where codes weren't disabled at first. They won't work on bundles ever but discount codes won't apply to individual items from this collection now either! All the lucky folks who used them early are the only ones who got a discount 😅

HI!!! The palette is pretty but they can do way better!!! Even with the lipsticks, this was a perfect time to bring back the grey one "Marshmallow" in their new formula....It has been a long month since nothing from colourpop is getting my attention...I like the packaging but is not on the product and they feel the same as buying any of their product, "It does not feel special" . I wanted to pick this one up but I had a feeling that it will not be as good formulawise. I actually really like the colourstory and all the cooltoned mattes are rare to see in one palette, but I think the three light shimmers are too similar so they could have kept just one and add two more spooky colours instead

I have a question. I went through my eyeshadow palettes last night and i have several that im keeping for just 1 or 2 shades. I would really like to pop them out and put themin a magnetic pallette. Can anyone tell me the best way to get them out? Most of them are morphe, but theres a few colourpop. The pans look to be the same size.

I think there's too many light shades, especially the light shimmer shades. We don't need three in one palette. I'm not really a fan of that blue shimmer either. I don't like the tone and I think it looks so similar to past blue shimmers they've done. This could have been a really cool spooky collection, but it is a dud. I'll stick with my Nomad Ghost Town palette.

I was able to use her code too, but only on the individual items...it didn't work on the SS bundle, but I'm sure that's because the bundles are already discounted. I wonder if that's why it worked for some people, but not others.

I love the haunted mansion ride and the whole collection was a flop for me. It shouldve been like chuckie x glamlite but with blues instead of red. I think the nomad ghost town palette gives me more haunted mansion vibes than this palette. I wish they would have released a mirror so i couldve gotten something for the packaging lol

If you cover up the middle turquoise and purple shimmer, it just looks like a regular old cool toned palette. Yes with depth and a variety of finishes but come on, it's been done. Pass. Halloween themed makeup should be the best excuse to do super funky colors!

I think the collection as a whole is very cool and exciting, but I agree that they could have amped it up and gone further, especially with the lip colors. I also would have loved to see a couple more items, like maybe a cosmetic bag, mirror, or a lip mask. Definitely some missed opportunities, but overall an interesting collection. I'm super bummed the glitter doesn't glow much on the skin, though!! That's the only item I planned to buy, because I thought it'd be fun to wear to Disneyland and glow on the dark rides. 😕 P.S. I created my own Haunted Mansion themed BYOP, and it was SO FUN! I love how it turned out. Definitely a fun theme to play with. 🖤🎃💀🕸💜🕷🦴✨
