I think Mariah has said this in a video of hers but i feel like the shades in the colourpop monochromatic palettes end up looking the same on the eyes, especially their yellow, orange, and peach ones. There’s not enough depth to the darker shades in the palette so when they’re blended out it looks the same as the other shades in the palette. That’s why i don’t think i’d buy any of the newer 9 pan palettes, but i do like the purple one they came out with

Hi Jess! Pretty look! Peach is soooo not my color (because my color is always blue all the time, blue everything!) though I can see that lighter skin toned people will love the palette, and many people will love the lip products. My question: When is Colourpop going to get on the colorful brow product train?!? I would 1000000000% buy blue eyebrow products from them!!! I think it’s a missed opportunity in their monochromatic bundles honestly. I know Distinction Cosmetics specializes in fun brow products but I haven’t gotten around to trying anything yet. As much as I love Colourpop, I feel like they have grasped on too strongly to the idea of a monochromatic eyeshadow palette. I loved the Oh La La palette and the Its My Pleasure palette works well, too..but anything after that is just a flop in my opinion. Most all of the shades in the subsequent palettes look just the same on your eye once applied and blended out. It doesn't matter what skin tone you are either (but if you're a medium to dark skin tone, its definitely a waste of money getting this one, or the yellow one!) At this point, they are just marketing to the collectors in us. We all like to have the 'collection' of a series, even if they're absolutely useless. Lord help us Lol. I love peachy tones as much as the next gal, but do I need 9 exact colors of it in one palette...not so much. As always, JKissa you rock the makeup no matter what. I love your channel and personality xoxo

I find it kind of weird they'd put something not intended for the eye area in this palette! :(

They have to put the not intended for the immediate eye area to avoid getting into trouble. It doesnt necessarily mean you can't use it that's why some brands call them pressed pigments instead of eyeshadows just because technically they cannot consider them eyeshadows due to the possibility of staining a consumers eye. Also there has been a new term that isn't pigments but I cannot recall off my head but brands have to becareful with what they call certain palettes. As for the glitter shade those have the term because they are considered chunky glitters as opposed to metallic eyeshadows or regular glittery eyeshadows, those are not the safest because if they do get inside your eye it can cause some serious damage. To avoid this people use them in different ways that does not involve the immediate eye area or they apply a glitter base beforehand.

Do you think it’s slightly irresponsible for brands to release so many launches so close together.
