The Fantastic Four tie in to Bloodhunt was an example of how to make an interesting but not event-essential tie in. It’s also a character study in the limits and possibilities of Alicia and Reed. Redcoat is immortal ( except under current circumstances) but his time travel is strictly forward one year at a time. One outlier I’d recommend is BlasFamous by Mirka Andorka, which takes worship of celebrities quite literally but not in the same direction as the Wicked & the Divine. I’d need to reread all three full-length issues before further analysis, but it is thought-provoking.

Dude! You have a nice ultimate collection of comic books in your hand! I like Rook Exodus #1, 2 and 3. I have collected Gatchaman #1! It is the battle of the planets from the '70s, not the Planet of the Apes! I collected Transformers #9! It is a very good comic book collection! Rook is probably the best book coming out of Ghost Machine right now. I just can't click with Geiger or Redcoat at all though. I kind of like the toyetic design that all the Rook wardens have a unique power that's immediately recognizable and cool

really liked the new issue of Rook. picked up the first two issues off the recommendation of the worker of my lcs, read both of them this morning before going to pick up the new issue today. the story/world is super interesting and I looove the artwork

@@ottotalkscomics All good man I was just curious haha. Superman House of Brainiac was great and that leads into the bug Absolute Power event that’s about to start. They just released the first issue and it looks like it’s gonna rip. I’ve been reading digitally to catch up. Good chance to start fresh with some of the main DC titles. Batman is about to change writers soon I think so it may be a good time to start also. I’m also bias tho :)
