I could feel you relax and the smile start to spread across YOUR face, too, as it all came together and everything was back where it ought to be. Well, where it ought to be *for now, since you’re still working on the house! It looks so nice and bright and spacious and like it’s your home! I’m so happy for you that everything is going so well.🥰 You addressed the one thing I’ve been trying to remember all week to say, which is to wait until you have ALL of the cabinets before you install ANY of them. The last thing you want to do is have to rip out expensive cabinets and risk damaging them if you need to adjust when the uppers are in place. So glad you already changed your mind. I can’t wait until you have them all and can start putting them in! Things are moving right along. How do the boys still like their school? My grandson (just turned 5) started kindergarten on Tuesday and absolutely loves it. He attended a preschool, run by and located within their science museum & planetarium, for 1.5 years (half days, a couple of days a week) and likes the more structured regular school experience. The bus forgot to pick him up the first day and on the second day, it forgot to stop at his house to drop him off at the end of the day. Thank heaven his Mom had reminded him that adults get confused and make mistakes sometimes at the beginning of the year because they’re getting used to things, too. She told him not to get upset, just go to the adult in charge and politely tell them what’s wrong and they’ll help fix it. And that’s just what he did - he spoke up and said, “Excuse me, but you just passed my house and forgot to stop” to the driver. The driver right away circled the block and dropped him off. No fuss, no upset for anyone! I’m so proud! 😍 Thanks for listening to me brag! 🤣

My sister has a leather sectional that sits in front of a big window and the sunlight started fading it. She keeps a blanket over it during the sunniest part of the day. You might want to do that-- or rotate the two couches periodically-- if you start to see that happening. Just a thought. Everything is coming together beautifully!

For more (temporary) counter space, you could take the table that you used to have the TV on, and use it in the kitchen, like an island. Also, I quite like the kids bathroom the way it is now!

Try not to get overwhelmed with organization in closets. Make a plan for each closet on how you want it set up to be functional long term. One closet at a time by importance of its function in your home. Everything else will fall into place. You & Bobby are doing an amazing job with all these renovations! how about getting a small bar height table, say a square , for a temp. counter/bar space until the kitchen cabinets are done, then the table can go out in your back porch/doggy room to be used in there or the pool area, with stools it would be great for the kids to eat by the pool.....

We have a cheap knockoff robot vac. 2yrs now. I still vacuum but it's a life saver. We live across from a park so the pollen & dust is out of this world. I turn it on every morning & it runs while we're at work. All it gets it my hair & dust, but it's nice knowing the under & behind furniture areas are being done every day, not only occasionally. I will never go without now. Once we tear out living room & hall carpet, I'm getting the mopping one too.

I had to smile when I saw you using your toes and feet as well as you hands to move things whilst organising. I always had bare feet when I was young and loved the feeling of being grounded. Last yr I was pregnant and told my husband one thing I must get done before baby comes switch over to alllll the same bins. So we went to home depot and picked up 20 of the black bins but I got red lids bc he has all yellow lids. I love how uniform they are... I will never buy another stragler bin :)

So excited for the kitchen!! My anxiety is mega high with clutter. I'm having a really hard time getting back into a routine. I'm 4 months pp with baby 4. The other 3 are 5 (homeschooling her), 3, and 1.5. Kids wise, I got this, but chores wise I'm so behind. It's a season and I'm trying to take my time with it but it's hard some days just wanting to clean but baby and toddler both just want snuggles. Trying to soak in the snuggles.

My 4 kids are 22 months, 2.5 hears, and 18 months apart. They are the best of friends! #4 turn 1 the day we found out we were pregnant with #5 but the Lord called #5 home a week later just a couple weeks ago. We hope He blesses us with more. ❤️
